The defense did their job right.
They got it on record that Martin did not go inside but had gone back around and confronted Zimmerman. The cross examination used the witnesses, who were not credible or prepared to begin with, to discredit the claims of where Martin was at the time.

I see both people as combatting each other in a fight, where either one could have been the one to die. It turned out to be Martin who got killed, but it could have just as easily gone the other way.

It is still shocking to me that both left leaning and right leaning media leaked information the other media audiences never saw. So in addition to this violent fight and death, both political sides were fed separate background info and both thought the other was denying and projecting or deflecting, and didn't know where or why they were getting their perceptions and reports from.

If both sides got together and went through court testimony and records about where the men were positioned when the confrontation happened, we would all have the same information the jury had when they decided not guilty.

Amd if the leftwing got the same information the rightwing received, from the "innocent" Skittles and Tea being purchased to make Drank and get high off cough syrup to the charges that got Martin kicked out of school, then there might be more understanding where the "thug" image came from that wasn't just race.

Mixed media reports also screwed up the Michael Brown case to incite both sides to blame the other as racist.

Sadly ironic the biggest targets that take off in the media are the ones with dirt on both sides that can be used to fling at each other.

If you notice, cases where the shooting victim has zero dirt, but purely tragic injustice, the media and protests don't raise alarms over those.

Why is it only the Gary Grahams and the George Floyds are used to troll and protest the system as racist, while the poster cases selected have such a mixed criminal background it opens that up to be attacked to incite more and more?

Is the media hype not done on purpose by picking the most controversial people to champion as symbolic cases?
