Toxic empathy is one of the greatest threats facing the United States today. A block of voters who will vote for their own demise because they’ve allowed irrational emotions to control them is a serious problem. I would go so far as to say if very well might end up being an actual mental illness if properly studied by professionals, as normal people simply do not support lawlessness, crime, collapse, etc. out of pity for thugs, deviants, foreigners, etc.

3. Per IRS data, the top 1% earns 21% of all of the wealth, yet pays 40% of all of the taxes. That means we would need to cut taxes for the ultra wealthy by 50% to make them “pay their fair share”. We have a spending problem.
