The man's phrasing and style will never, ever be matched by anyone.

As to what stage of his career I prefer - all of them!

But, it really broke my heart when, far beyond his abilities and due to years of tough living, he sang for the opening of New York, New York here in Vegas.

A memory I truly try hard to erase.
