Too Early to Judge, I guess. But police Shoot Woman in her Own Backyard

How did she know they were cops?
Watching several videos if this - she was repeatedly told to drop the gun.
The police were there searching for someone else, but they didn't know what that person looked like.
Apparently she saw someone in her yard, went out with the gun looking for that person also.
The cops see her and yell very clearly and very loudly to drop the gun - several of the officers were visible to her - in a different video it show a moment right before she was shot, where it indeed looks like she raised her firing arm. Why - that will likely come out. Probably she got confused and raised her hands for the police instead of dropping the gun first.
The cops - had no idea she was the homeowner. They were literally there looking for a perp who was, as seen on camera, right near her house. They look over her fence and see her carrying a gun.
Looks like a tragic occurrence of mistaken identity and her being nervous and hyped up accidently raising the gun up.

You've seen more than I have then, so I could well be wrong.

Two things still have me skeptical.

1) The fact that she was shot at so many times and walked away with one likely superficial wound.

2) The tone of the officers who said "oh, she racked it?" I'd guess he was the first shooter, and he didnt even see her "rack it."

I posted in the second amendment forum because the 2A is turned on its head if law enforcement is trained to regard a civilian carrying a firearm as subject to summary execution if officers are "in fear."

I don't look for blame, I look at the circumstances.
#1 - If I see someone walking around in my yard - the LAST thing I am going to do is walk outside with a gun right out in the open, without any cover. She was practically begging to get shot by the perp or the police.
#2 - I would arm myself - inside my home - and call the police. No way walking outside to expose myself like she did.
#3 - The police are hyped up, adrenalin pumping. They are human also.
#4 - The police are trained to protect themselves and each other - 1st priority. Depending on the state, they can have WAY more rights to shoot someone than you do, including a homeowner.
#5 - If I was outside, with a gun, and I see cops - I am instantly going to drop the gun before they even tell me to. I would announce myself, and say I live here and I just dropped a gun. They yelled at her and you can see she takes several steps, turns towards them - while still carrying the gun. I don't know where her mind was.

She is a woman.
If she was a male, likely he wouldn't have.
I don't think a Black woman would have survived that encounter.

Not too long ago we had a story of a crazed race-soldier murdering a woman in her own house because he thought she would throw hot coffee on him. She didn't, and she wasn't going to.

No one batted an eye.
