Tom Homan spills the beans.

President Biden didn’t violate the law – Trump has and he continues to violate the law, that’s what the thread is about: Trump’s lawless effort to make Adams an anti-immigrant ally by ending the perfectly warranted prosecution of Adams.

You look ridiculous.... again

This liberal whinefest is hilarious. The only thing that would appease these loons would be the lawlessness of ignoring our immigration laws. As they did for four years of Biden all the while robbing the people blind by redirecting tax dollars to pay for their illegal alien pets.

Best to ignore them while they wallow in their impotent rage.
Conservatives have only themselves to blame for their blind partisan hypocrisy, and their reprehensible effort to defend the indefensible.

You must have graduated from Harris's word salad course

You forgot the part about having the criminal charges against him dropped without prejudice so the trump admin can hang the sword of Damocles over his head if he isn't sufficiently obedient to what the Orange Insurrectionist wants.
Trump must have learned those Sword tricks from Democrats šŸ¤£šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

Biden ended the perfectly warranted prosecution of Hunter.

This is a corrupt and criminal Trump administration; Trump is a criminal and convicted felon.

It comes as no surprise that Trump’s DoJ would enter into a lawless agreement to stop the prosecution of Adams in exchange for Adams allowing ICE to run roughshod in New York City.
You weep for criminal illegals and ignore what they do to Americans.

It's nothing like the same thing. Quid pro quo arrangements are illegal.
"I said, ā€˜Nah, I’m not going to – we’re not going to give you the billion dollars.’ They said, ā€˜You have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said –.' I said, ā€˜Call him.’" Biden remarked during a January 2018 event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations. "I said, ā€˜I’m telling you, you’re not getting the $1 billion.’"

"I said, ā€˜You’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here,'" Biden continued. "I looked at them and said, ā€˜I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time."

Emil Bove, the #2 at the DoJ, went to a great deal of trouble denying anything untoward about the arrangement made with Mayor Eric Adams to drop the charges against him for wire fraud and bribery. Charges on which he had been indicted and for which a trial was pending in the spring.

Then Tom Homan, trump's immigration czar, went on TV and blew Emil's cover.

Homan: If Adams doesn’t ā€˜come through, I’ll be back in New York City’

Tom Homan, the border czar tasked with overseeing President Trump’s mass deportation plan, issued a stark warning to New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) on Friday if he doesn’t ā€œcome throughā€ on enforcing immigration policies.

Homan and Adams made a joint appearance on Fox News’s ā€œFox & Friends,ā€ after Adams agreed to allow federal immigration officials to operate at Rikers Island — a decision signaling a change in the Big Apple’s sanctuary city policies. The duo also vowed to work together to solve New York’s ā€œmigrant problem.ā€

ā€œIf he doesn’t come through, I’ll be back in New York City, and we will be sitting on the couch,ā€ Homan told the Fox News panel, referring to the embattled mayor. ā€œI’ll be in his office saying, ā€˜Where the hell is the agreement we came to? We’re going to deliver for the safety of the people of this city.'ā€

Agreement? Oh, he must have been talking about the agreement Hagan Scotten referred to in his resignation letter.

No system of ordered liberty can allow the Government to use the carrot of dismissing charges, or the stick of threatening to bring them again, to induce an elected official to support its policy objectives.

Yup, that's the one alright. The agreement that lead to 7 DoJ officials to resign.

In his letter to Danielle Sassoon demanding she drop the charges against Adams, Emil made no mention of prosecutorial misconduct or a lack of evidence against Adams to secure a guilty verdict. Because he knew neither were the case. The subtext of the letter stated, "the boss has coerced Adams in to doing his bidding in NYC on immigrants so let him go.........even though he's guilty."

Some have drawn parallels between this incident and the Watergate era Saturday Night Massacre. But there's a distinct difference. When Nixon ordered the Special Prosecutor investigating his case to be fired it was top level officials in the DoJ who told him to stuff it. This time around top level officials like Bove and Bondi have supplanted fidelity to their oath of office with any damn thing they are told to do by their boss. Someone with an intimate familiarity with breaking the law.
So once again you and your unhinged outrage are a bunch of shit.

Prosecutors use dismissal or reduction of charges all the time to secure cooperation on other matters, if the defendant fails to deliver, the deal goes away. I guess this type of arrangement is only a good thing when commiecrats do it.

Thanks for the input IM2, TRUMP is cleaning up decades of corruption!

Frustration Grows Inside the White House Over Pace of Deportations

Just about every week since taking office, President Trump has called Thomas D. Homan, the enforcer of his immigration agenda, looking for an update on mass deportations.

How is it going at the border? What do the arrest numbers look like? Are sanctuary cities still standing in the way of the crackdown?

Mr. Homan’s typical response serves as something of a reality check for the president, whose campaign promise to deport millions of people is colliding with the practical difficulties of detaining immigrants and then transporting them across the globe.

ā€œWe need to increase the arrests,ā€ Mr. Homan said he has told Mr. Trump, recounting their conversations in an interview with The New York Times. ā€œThey’re not high enough.ā€

What scapegoat will they blame for the slow pace?
