Whether it be Martin Luther (father of German Protestantism) publishing a book titled "On The Jews and their Lies" (Von den Jüden und iren Lügen) or Oberammergau Passion Plays portraying Jews as the murderers of Jesus, it's kind of in the culture of Germany (and much of the rest of Christian Europe.)

It's even more absurd to think I'd want to do that to Catholic, given - once again - 90% of my relatives are practicing Catholics. That would make Thanksgiving really ******* awkward. My family knows I don't care for the Church; they know why, and we all more or less get along. I'm even a godfather to two of my nieces.
