Of course Joe and his fellow liberals will hate that idea because the “guest workers” will have to provide biometric identification at the originating office to verify their identity to qualify for the visa and to release the bond. The costs of the staff to accomplish this will be paid for by a surcharge on the visa application the employer pays.

I had a friend who worked in Social Services in California. She told me that the representatives who processed welfare applications were not even allowed to ask the immigration status of applicants. She said the vast majority couldn’t speak English and were illiterate in Spanish. So yes while it’s illegal for illegal immigrants to get welfare, in practice it is very common.
