To those of you that hate ICE...

In your opinion. SNAP recipiants are the most likely to have jobs, just not jobs that pay very well.

Here's the ugly reality about SNAP. It exists to help support farmers by creating demand for their products. That's why the Department of Agriculture runs it.
That used to be the case, but no longer. If that were true, SNAP could not be used for imported foods. Now it's a straight welfare program.

Yeah I am sure the sex slaves are not really slaves.

And yet they still use welfare that’s how I know you’re lying

I'm always amused how "concerned" you guys are about "Sex slaves". Here's an idea. Legalize prostitution, license it, and regulate it. No more sex slaves.

No, undocumented immigrants can't get welfare, and even most documented ones can't.

Walls are a waste of money.

Walls can be climbed over, dug under, cut through, or gone around.

Yes, Nazi Tactics should be criticized by decent people.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has documented the most dramatic transformation in border crossing statistics throughout 2025, with nationwide encounters reaching historic lows not witnessed in decades. CBP reports that July 2025 achieved the most secure border conditions in history with only 24,630 total encounters nationwide, representing the lowest monthly total in agency history. These unprecedented reductions encompass both Border Patrol apprehensions between ports of entry and Office of Field Operations encounters at official crossing points, reflecting comprehensive border security improvements across all modes of entry.

The US exports far more food than it imports. The only things we really import are seasonal items like Bananas, which can't be grown here.
U.S. beef imports in May totaled 550 million pounds, more than 60 percent higher year over year and the second-highest monthly import total behind January of this year. Brazil was the largest contributor to the increase with imports of 175 million pounds, more than 5 times the amount imported in May 2024.

Again, that doesn't mean anything, those numbers have been declining since December 2023. By the time that Cheeto Hitler got back, the number was already down to 25K a month from 290K a month.

So instead of presenting themselves at the border and requesting asylum, they are going back to sneaking under fences or overstaying tourist visas.

Out of sight, out of mind, eh?

The US consumes 13.2 million TONS of beef every year. (That would be 26 BILLION Pounds.) So imports of beef constitute a whopping 2% of our beef consumption.

Not really.......look at the 2020 - 2024 Biden era increase and the huge drop in 2025 when Trump took over

How Much Beef Does the U.S. Import From Brazil?

The U.S. imports a significant amount of beef from Brazil, though its role has been fluctuating. In 2023, Brazil accounted for approximately 5% of total U.S. beef imports, a figure that is expected to grow significantly in 2024 and beyond due to factors like drought conditions in Australia and increased global demand.

Okay, so you suck at math.

Let's break it down for you.

The US imports 550,000,000 Pounds of beef. That works out to less than two pounds of beef per American. (And I'm only counting people, not pets.)

We CONSUME 90 pounds of beef per year on average.

We used to export more beef than we import. But after Trump started ******* with our trade relationships, our biggest customers are telling us to pound sand.

One of the major statements regarding ICE agents is that they wear masks.
"ICE agents wear masks primarily to protect themselves from doxing, harassment, and threats to their safety and that of their families. Officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) state that the masks are a response to increasing threats and a rise in assaults against agents, fueled by the agency's unpopularity and extreme political polarization. Critics, however, express concerns that masking can reduce officer accountability and transparency, potentially eroding public trust.
Reasons for masking.
Protection from doxing: Masking helps prevent the public sharing of their personal information online, which can lead to harassment and threats."

To those of you that attack ICE for wearing masks, why don't you provide us your email address, personal home address, children's names, etc. which
you PROTECT by NOT using your real names, etc.?

Finally the reality is most of you ICE antagonists hardly ever provide links to prove your personal, subjective and obviously ignorant opinions!

Grow UP!

I would not be part of a fascist secret police force to have to worry about this. Only people who know they're doing something wrong would have these fears. If I'm grabbing someone off the street with the intent of making them disappear I absolutely would be wearing a ski mask to protect my identity. Most criminals do!

Why did it suddenly start to drop towards the end of 2024 ?

Election year cowering by Biden/Dems in response to pressure on the campaign trail by Trump

it didn't. It dropped starting in the beginning of 2024.

By June 2024, it was down to 84,000.
By August, it was down to 58,000.

And again, these are people that they are catching or are presenting themselves, not the ones who are getting away or overstaying visas.

You said we don't import anything but bananas. I demonstrated we are increasing our consumption and importation of beef from Brazil and you move the goalposts.

In the first half of 2025, Brazil exported 156,000 mt of fresh, chilled, and frozen beef to the US, a 132% rise compared with the same period in 2024 and a record for the semester, according to the Brazilian Foreign Trade Agency, or Secex.

The graph is in 5 year time increments.......goes up in 2023-2024

I don't have to "move" anything. The fact is we export and import beef like any other international commodity, probably because Brazil is closer to Florida than California is.

Of course, now Trump has to spend $16 billion bailing out farmers because his trade policies have killed the market for American agri-goods.
