To Conservatives: What drives the economy?

Are Republicans happy so many jobs moved to China under Bush and so many factories closed?

Jobs have been moving and factories have been closing since Gerald Ford was president, brainiac. The answer is if people are not happy with that then they are not paying attention. Every job moved off shore creates 3 more jobs here.
Libs dont know what "comparative advantage" means. Or any other term in economics.[/QUOTE

******* rabbit. SO all we have to do is move ALL the jobs offshore and we will have 0% unemployment.

Well actually we would have better than 0% unemployment because all of us would have multiple jobs.

Because rabbit says moving ONE job out of the USA creates THREE jobs in the USA.

How does that math work rabbit? How could we move, lets say 10 millions jobs out of the USA and end up with 30 million jobs?

Move 50 millions jobs out and get 150 million jobs back.

Move ALL the jobs out of the USA and end up with what rabbit?

Are you sure of your math there rabbit?

Hey Zeke, lay off the Thunderbird long enough to look up the meaning of "comparative advantage." Then get back to me.
While you're at it, read this article from that right wing loony newspaper The Washington Times.
Offshoring creates as many U.S. jobs as it kills, study says - The Washington Post

You agree. But you're both wrong.

No money movement drives the economy. 'Sherlock'.

Yea like when I move money from my pocket into the hands of a business that supplies the things I need. And then the business moves that money into the hands of a business supplying what they need. And around and around.

You talking about that kind of money movement?

How does that drive the economy, numbnuts?

Dumbfuck....if someone isn't rich enough to create their own business to employ other workers, then those "workers'' won't have money to spend....:eusa_whistle:

What drives our economy? Consumer spending or business investment?

If you think consumer spending drives the economy, what would be wrong about putting more disposable income into the hands of the middle class and the poor?

If it's business investment, what would be wrong about making adjustments to the tax code that would discourage outsourcing and off shore tax shelters? Shouldn't American business investment be made in, I don't know, maybe America?

Yeah, it's the Dems fighting ANY tax increase on 'job creators', new regulations, Dubya's regulator failure, etc

CONSERVATIVE POLICY NEVER WORKS ANYWHERE IT'S EVER TRIED, EXCEPT FOR THE 1%ERS. EVER!

When "Dubya" was leaning fiscally conservative in 2003 it worked quite well. Then when he won in 2004 the "compassionate" stuff kicked in hard and the rest is history.

"When "Dubya" was leaning fiscally conservative in 2003 it worked quite well."

Oh you mean AFTER he gutted taxes and created 2 UNFUNDED wars and had 2 UNFUNDED tax cuts AND created UNFUNDED Medicare expansion AND put ALL OF IT ON THE CREDIT CARD?

THAT was considered 'fiscally conservative'? lol

It's much more fiscally conservative than now, that's for sure.

If liberals cared about unfunded actions (like Iraq) that create debt, then they wouldn't be so quick to support unfunded children who don't live here or pay taxes. Yet, they are willing to throw billions of unfunded dollars to cloth, house, feed, and educate children of other nations while Democrats turn to say it's the Republicans who should first be handling issues at home and not looking to get involved with issues from abroad.

Spending money on killing terrorists and their dictator supporters "overseas" is money well spent for Americans compared to spending our money on non-Americans invading our country for welfare benefits.

Using liberal logic, we should spend money supporting terrorists that invade our country to destroy it like the cock-roaches of Latin America.....both groups are hellbent on taking the US down.

That's like saying money creates wealth, numbnuts. Get back to me when you know what you're talking about.

Money does not create wealth you sad 'numbnuts'. But money movement is what our economy is based on. Thankfully you and the rest of the sheeple will continue to make your contributions at Walmart and the Taco Bell drive through. So the system will continue to work just fine,
