Is it the politics of Minnesota that caused autism spending to rise 32,000 % in 5 years? What could be causing this concerning trend?

“When Minnesota’s autism program first started a decade ago, there were only a handful of providers registered with the state.

However, the program has experienced significant growth in recent years, marked by an increase in the number of claims and new providers. There are now more than 450 autism centers registered in the state.

“You get this diagnosis and you’re like, what am I supposed to do?” said Tai Sims of Woodbury.

Sims’ son, Tyler, was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. He’s one of an estimated 50,000 kids in Minnesota to receive a diagnosis.”

For this 32,000% rise in autism…government spending went from $1 million to $320 million. LOCALIZED TO MINNNESOTA.

It seems as though this should be a HUGE concern. It is the water in Minnesota ? The air in Minnesota? Something related to the birth process in Minnesota?

How it is that autism rose 32,000% in Minnesota, but not in other states, not even states that border Minnesota.

Could it be fraud? Could fraud be driving higher taxes?

There appears to be a real lack of concern about what is driving this spike in autism ONLY IN MINNESOTA.
"How come there used to be zero widgets before we started counting widgets, and now it turns out there are widgets when we count widgets?"

If this was any other health malady that rose 32,000% in 5 years ONLY IN MINNESOTA, would we give it such little consideration and concern?
Who’s gonna break it to this guy that an increase in spending doesn’t necessarily mean an increase in cases of autism?

is there any statistics saying that there is a 32,000% increase in autism cases?

In the year 2000, the autism rate in the USA was 1 in 150.

Today, it is 1 in 30.

Somalians in Minnesota have a 1 in 12 rate.

Some municipalities in California have a 1 in 6 rate.

WHY, SPECIFICALLY, DO PEOPLE NOT WANT THIS ADDRESSED?
