'Tidal wave on our hands': Furious voters say Trump's turning key red state purple

Doesn’t matter

Republicans will vote against their own interests as long as Trump….

Hunts down Mexicans and throws them in hellhole prisons
Harasses gays and trannies
Protects guns from them evil Democrats trying to take them
Turns America into a Christian nation
You should see what we do to atheist Mexican trannies. Hoo doggies

Pick a subject. Any subject. Democrats will lie about it. No corn growers are upset because Coke is going to cane sugar instead of corn syrup. The largest user of corn isn't syrup makers, it's gasoline producers who use corn to make ethanol. Maybe they will import less corn and buy American corn.

As long as corn makes gas, there will be no shortage of buyers.

/----/ "No corn growers are upset because Coke is going to cane sugar instead of corn syrup. "
Thank President Trump. He asked Coke to do that.

They knew who and what Trump is; they knew what Congressional Republicans would do – they’re in no position to be ‘angry,’ they have only themselves to blame, the stupidity of voting for Trump and Republicans.
But they're angry at themselves, the worst kind...

Anyway, it seems corn farmers aren't part of what makes America great.

Oh well

Your Floriduh sugar subsidies thank you.

"All of our corn sweetener comes from American farms, raised by American farmers and processed in American plants," said Mark Mueller, a corn and soybean farmer from Waverly, Iowa, who told Newsweek the move was "a betrayal" of Trump's own "America First" pledge.
"What happened to the 'Make it in America' mindset?" Mueller asked, warning that even a small hit to corn prices — just a nickel or dime per bushel — could crush farmers in an industry already operating on razor-thin margins.
The Corn Refiners Association, an industry trade group, backed Mueller's concerns, estimating that eliminating high-fructose corn syrup from U.S. food and beverage supply chains could cut corn prices by up to 34 cents a bushel and result in a $5.1 billion loss in farm revenue.
"The resulting economic shockwave would lead to rural job losses and significant economic consequences to communities across the country," the group said in a statement.
Stauch likened the voter mood to a tsunami gathering offshore. "By the time we get to the election, I think we're going to find out we have a tidal wave on our hands," she said. "People are pissed off. They're angry."

Didn't "RawStory" predict a tidal wave of voters would put Kamala in the White House? When are lefties going to quit relying on the pipe dreams of the lying bastards that pretend to be information sources?

/----/ So people are supposed to keep drinking corn syrup instead of pure cane sugar. DERP

The Corn Refiners Association, those lying bastards?

I tend to agree.

Of course not. Floriduh sugar has offered Chump a much better bribe, instead of moaning about tariffs.

It's not rocket science.

You'll drink whatever pays Chump the most, and you'll like it.

/—-/ You call the President “Chump” even though he had accomplished more good for the country in 6 months than any other president except maybe FDR.

The problem is, Cane Sugar is better, and frankly, Iowa produces too much corn, which is why the government has to keep inventing uses for it like Ethanol no one wants, or high fructose corn syrup that isn't particularly healthy.

Corn, wheat, rice, rye and other grains have been used to make alcohol since the invention of Moors head distillation?
Finding different methods to use alcohol other than imbibing is a different story..
It is true though that you can use alcohol to run engines.
"Running motors strictly on grain alcohol, such as ethanol, is possible, but it may require modifications to the engine to prevent issues like corrosion and ensure proper fuel delivery. Ethanol has a high octane rating, which can improve engine performance, but it also has a lower energy density compared to gasoline, meaning more fuel may be needed for the same power output."

No real way to tell until the mid-terms but I’d be surprised if the GOP holds onto their razor thin majority. Trump had no room to alienate people and that is all he has been doing.

/---/ During the Depression, people adjusted their engines to run on alcohol or a blend with gas successfully.

The issue you have is that the Dems have record low approval. So you aren’t giving anyone an alternative.
