Thumbs Down On Trump Taking the Qatar 747!

Yes, because it's for use as Air Force One. That means that the occupant will not always be a Democrat. It's for use for the President no matter his party.
In this nation, it is Republicans who are on their haunches. Not the other way around. Trump plays the game as a Prog would. Joe pardoning his family and others in the Democratic Party tells you there is stealing, grift and corruption.

What's Trump's understanding of who owns the plane and his intentions for it, regarding that?
Trump knows that the 747 would be owned by the Department of Defense, like the others.

My recommendation is as follows:
1. Take the free 747 from Qatar
2. Auction it to the highest bidder, as-is, with no upgrades.
3. Take the revenue and put it toward payment for the two new Boeing 747s to be delivered in 2027
4. Give one of the old retiring 747s to the Trump library. win-win-win

I don't know about you, but something tells me the rest of these guys would be singing an entirely different tune if it was a Democrat. In fact, I have zero doubt about that.
Of course you have zero doubt, just as we have zero doubt you have some serious TDS going on.

2027? Holly crap, weren't the new 747's ordered during Trumps first term? Must be a bunch of those Seattle liberals doing the build.

Of course you'd say that, that's the standard response to pretty much ANY disagreement with the can-do-no-wrong president so many here idolize.

I would disagree with it no matter who did it. :dunno: For numerous reasons. As others have stated, the cost of converting it to be used as Air Force is well over what the plane is worth. And anyone who thinks there are no strings attached to a gift that big is incredibly naive, imo.

The problem with that argument, BC, is that if you keep making the same argument, you must expect the same answer. So, it becomes rather invalid then to try to discredit the responses as being "standard."

the cost of converting it to be used as Air Force is well over what the plane is worth.
And the cost will be the same no matter which Boeing 747-8 they start with.

Trump is truly amazing; things are going so well the liberals are reduced to whining about a plane. How sad.

No kidding, what did you say when Slick Willie got the chopper?

LOL, you clearly don't know me at all. I actually had an anti-Clinton website when he was president that exposed the hell out of him, and that website was online for many years afterwards. I'm not a Dem, never have been, never will be. I have stated about a million times that both parties are thoroughly corrupt and controlled by the same powers.

I think she said, "Aw, ain't that nice:4_13_65:."

Um, read the post right above yours. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. In fact, I was as anti-Clinton as it gets, so what you said is hilarious to me.
