Just take a look at the LAX airport and compare that to the Hamad international airport in Doha.

I was at the LAX last year. The place is a dump and the streets right by one of the busiest airports in America are flooded with potholes.

Did I ever say that Trump was going to be allowed to own the jet? I already know it's been "gifted" to the US govt. The fact that still remains that if Trump is allowed to use it, or simply uses it because he can, but without actual approval, then that's still an enormous benefit to him. I fully expect the autocratic rules of Qatar to be phoning in their favors to Trump as soon as they can. Another more serious and immediate question you should be asking yourself is how does all this tie in with Trump opening up a 8 billion dollar golf resort in Qatar. Never in my life have I ever seen a president more prone to cozing up with dictators than Trump and more adversarial to our allies.
