Robert W.'s head is cracking. He would have loved being a communist.
Wrong but history is my interest and not yours. I was in Communist East Berlin and there if one liked communism, it cured you of that very fast. I never liked communism at all.

That nonsensical statement is bizarre.

same...

Which is what fallacy you are trying to stand behind?

weird

What an odd strange weird claim. Sounds like an old drunkard who is a shut-in on disability
In a nutshell, you frequently show your brain has a lot of disconnected wiring and burnt out fuses, metaphorically speaking.
Since your thinking is neither logical nor rational, when you encounter such it is "bizarre" in your mind.
Your attitudes and positions on subjects suggest you are not Free Enterprise oriented, likely have not worked much, if at all, in for profit ventures, perhaps done little real work/occupation.

You likely place in thje bottom to left parts of this Nolan Chart;

I expect you make up some fabrication about how successful you are in employment and business, like a few others have on this board, put that will mostly be;

A Federalist Republic too.

It's really all about a part of the culture war crap. It's long been a talking point for the rightwing - this attack on the word "democracy," even as some of their leaders (even Trump) end up praising American democracy when it suits their narrow, partisan purpose(s).

And see, this discussion will be a political one, and not a discussion on understand the constitution.
FDR is the one who popularized usage of "democracy" to describe the USA. It's was meant as metaphor and rhetoric, but the Left often takes it as literal.

Yet in the Pledge of Allegiance, which the Left also denigrates, it's "to the Republic for which it stands". No pretext qualifier applied.

I have commented on the purpose of our Government. No it is not a democracy. Were it one, we all would be besieged with notices to vote. And I mean on every action by government. This is why the founders named it a Republic. A Republic has representatives to do all of your voting. All you can do is vote for all of them, including the president. Democrats call it a democracy to fool you. When you hear our press call us a democracy, they mean to a person only Democrats.

For those who don't ramble on with objection based on first knee-jerk reaction, the clip is from Hillsdale College;

Developing Minds. Improving Hearts.
Hillsdale College is a small, Christian, classical liberal arts college in southern Michigan that operates independently of government funding. Our students come from nearly all of the United States and a dozen foreign countries, and drawn to the challenge of a Hillsdale education, they grow in heart and mind by studying timeless truths in a supportive community dedicated to the highest things.

Another excellent source for learning about the Constitution is;
National Center for Constitutional Studies

They have one of the best pocket version booklet available

Turning Point USA also points out a pocket size version with interesting sidebar notes;

Show that in the original documents please!!!

When it was created, the Constitution guaranteed 2 Senators per state. Senators were to bring back to DC the wishes of their own states. Somebody knocked that on it's ass when the public got to vote for Senators.
The Representatives were assumed to go to states to learn what the public wants. That is shit now.
Woodrow Wilson, POTUS in 1913, and his Progressives did that.
Same time as instituting the Income Tax.

Do you even know wtf you are talking about here? Do you even really know wtf a constitution is? I highly doubt either thing.

Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)
During its existence, the Soviet Union had three different constitutions enforced individually at different times between 31 January 1924 to 26 December 1991.

And is your point here that even thought Trump and co. are acting such, it's different because it's the USA?

The USA had a Mafia long before Russia did

From your embedded link;
A constitution is the aggregate of fundamental principles or established precedents that constitute the legal basis of a polity, organization or other type of entity, and commonly determines how that entity is to be governed.[1]

When these principles are written down into a single document or set of legal documents, those documents may be said to embody a written constitution; if they are encompassed in a single comprehensive document, it is said to embody a codified constitution. The Constitution of the United Kingdom is a notable example of an uncodified constitution; it is instead written in numerous fundamental acts of a legislature, court cases, and treaties.[2]

Constitutions concern different levels of organizations, from sovereign countries to companies and unincorporated associations. A treaty that establishes an international organization is also its constitution, in that it would define how that organization is constituted. Within states, a constitution defines the principles upon which the state is based, the procedure in which laws are made and by whom. Some constitutions, especially codified constitutions, also act as limiters of state power, by establishing lines which a state's rulers cannot cross, such as fundamental rights. Changes to constitutions frequently require consensus or supermajority.[3]

One could also think of a constitution as a business plan for a nation.

That Mafia thing is debatable.
USA Mafia was a transplant from Sicily IIRC.
Generically mafia is a term for a crime organization, and such go back about as far as origins of civilization. And can be found in nearly every country, though their name might vary.

Locally we have a potato chip company that started the boon of "kettle fried" potato chips back in the late 1980s-early 1990s. When they tried to set up a business in the recently no longer communist/soviet Russia, they found the payoffs for "protection" would be too great for the venture to make a profit. So they abandoned the idea. (Tim's Cascade Potato Chips)
