The OP asks for solutions to the “Iran problem”. So it’s fitting to define the “Iran problem” first.
Insofar as the Iran problem is setting IEDs to kill US military in Iraq, the solution is don’t have thousands of US military driving around Iraq.
The good news is that we already did that.

You should listen, he says the bases scattered around the gulf states that are being targeted are essential to resupplying US warships, those bases are being hit and some badly hit. The logistics impact is going to be huge.
We saw signs of this the other day when Trump tried to restart talks and the Iranians said **** off. Why would Trump do that?
Why would he authorize bombing in the middle of talks and then after a couple of days of all out war try to restart talks?
Things are not going well...
It shows how long the Terrorist Regime of Iran has been threatening the world.
It took until we had a president with guts to neutralize the threat.

Do you think Americans feel terrorized by Iran? I don’t. Americans weren’t clamoring for this war. It just happened and the reasons and goals are ill defined and keep changing.

Iran has itself been subject to terrorism from Sunni Islamist groups!
