There is and never was an "Iran problem". Israel has wanted to destroy Iran for its own geopolitical purposes for a long time. Iran has been resisting Israel's hegemony for decades, Israel is the problem in the region and always has been.

If radical Islam is a concern then bomb Sunni Pakistan not Shia Iran. Pakistan is the most active player when it comes to harboring extreme Islamic ideological groups.
