Those of you against destruction of the drug-hauling boats... question...

Okay…

Let’s say a foreign actor was shipping components which could be used to make a dirty bomb into the USA via private boats and planes. Would you agree that intercepting them violently would be appropriate?
If they had all this information

Why not intercept and arrest ?

Same with the boats

They have them on camera

Why not follow them and have the coastguard apprehend them?

We do that already.

Although, I think Russia could sneak one in easily.
Trump would vouch for them.

Arresting these folks doesn’t do any good. Either we end up paying store them in our jails or their own countries just cut them loose.

They do not respect our laws or the potential consequences of their actions. Only FEAR will actually make anything change and the only thing these people fear is DEATH. If we know who they are we should be droning their families as well.

We truly need a new national motto…

🔥🔥DO NOT **** WITH AMERICA, FOR THOU ART CRUNCHY AND TASTE GREAT WITH CATSUP!!!! 🔥🔥

I’ve been called far worse by people I respect far more than you. At least put some effort into it if you try to insult me again.

I don’t trust the government but I trust the average citizen even less, and I don’t trust foreigners at all.

No, I don't. Because I'm not. The reason being these are not situations that are analogous to each other.

The U.S. government built a case that al-Awlaki was a key figure in plotting and inspiring terrorist attacks against the United States, which formed the basis for their decision to target him without a trial.

Evidence and Government Position

 • Operational Role in Terror Plots: U.S. officials linked al-Awlaki to multiple specific terrorist plots. These included the 2009 attempted Christmas Day bombing of a U.S.-bound airliner (Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the "underwear bomber", met with al-Awlaki in Yemen) and the 2010 plot to blow up U.S.-bound cargo planes with printer-cartridge bombs.
 • Inspiration and Recruitment: Al-Awlaki was a prominent English-speaking cleric who used the internet to spread radical ideology and call for violent jihad against the United States. He was known as an influential recruiter and propagandist, and was linked to numerous other individuals convicted of terrorism-related offenses, including the Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, who exchanged emails with him.
 • Formal Designation: In July 2010, the U.S. Treasury Department and the United Nations Security Council officially designated al-Awlaki as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.
 • Legal Justification: The Obama administration, through a secret legal memo from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), justified the targeted killing as a lawful act of war under the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF). The administration argued that al-Awlaki posed an "imminent threat of violent attack against the United States" and that capturing him was not feasible at the time.
Not knowing where you got this from, because you didn't post a link. Probably for a reason.

the fact of the matter is that Trump in his first term declared Maduro a Narco terrorist, and in this term named TDA as a narco terrorist organization....

On September 15, President Trump delivered the “Major’s List” to Congress, designating the countries responsible for sourcing and transporting illicit drugs into the United States. The State Department announced the Presidential Determination of these 23 countries, with five countries—Afghanistan, Bolivia, Burma, Colombia, and Venezuela—listed as having “failed demonstrably to make substantial efforts,” calling upon them to improve their counternarcotics efforts. By manufacturing and trafficking illicit drugs and precursor chemicals, these countries are threatening the safety of the United States and its citizens.

Under President Trump’s leadership, the White House Office of Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) will use every tool in our arsenal to hold these designated countries accountable and keep illicit drugs from pouring into our country and destroying American lives.

Now as for the declaration....

This is a legal operation of the United States. Period.

No I don’t. I’m not a Trump supporter. He’s far too liberal and mentally deficient for my tastes. I voted for him in 2016. I haven’t made that mistake a second time.

I do agree with a lot of his social issue policies, thoughh they rarely go anywhere near far enough. Unfortunately he spends far too much time on international relations and economic issues for my tastes.,

How is that a concession?
You claimed we need treatment programs. I pointed out that every state and every city have diversion treatment programs.
A drug rehab program with a six month waiting list is worse than useless.

Oh, but wait, there are programs you can pay for for affluent white people, that's all that counts.
It's not a waiting list that's the problem. It's not ******. It's the drugs, it's the addiction.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States; including section 706(1) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2003 (Public Law 107-228) (FRAA), I hereby identify the following countries...................

LOL.

Trump doesn't even understand ONE paragraph.
ANOTHER load of SHIT, by the Trump regime.

Thank God, it not for a know nothing like you to decide...

Where were these imaginary missiles made?
FACT dummy! Use the Internet!!!
Question I asked.."can missiles carrying nuclear bombs carry poisonous drugs instead"
Answer dummy!
Yes, a missile that is designed to carry a nuclear warhead could physically carry a chemical warhead containing poisonous agents instead, as has been done historically.

No one wanted to shoot it down over a place where the debris might kill civilians.

It wasn't a spy balloon; it was a weather balloon that went off course.
No China paid Biden plenty of money to fly that spy balloon over our nation. You're a traitor.

I think that's kind of an absurd comparison.

We have a drug problem because we treat addiction as a criminal problem and not a medical one.

Anyone complaining about drug deaths due to Fentanyl is leaving out that these deaths happen because AMERICAN drug dealers are mixing into cocaine and heroin.

Kind of like how, during Prohibition, they tried to make commercial alcohol undrinkable by adding in dangerous chemicals. But bootleggers used the tainted alcohol anyway.

We need treatment programs, not blowing up random boats in the Caribbean that aren't carrying drugs anyway.

"Well, robbing banks isnt the problem, its people's desire for money! If you want to stop people from robbing banks, we have to get them to stop liking money!"

Thats your argument. Its not the drug cartels fault, its Americans fault for wanting drugs.

15th post
I had to go thru extensive background checks to get my TS-SCI security clearance, the highest clearance in the military. If I had any involvement in anti-American groups, or had any ties to hostile foreign or domestic groups or organizations, I never would have been granted a security clearance.

I volunteered for tough and extremely punishing, as well as hazardous, training to become an 18E Special Forces Communications SGT, and served several years on two ODA Special Forces Operational Detachment Alphas.
That's called conduct that goes above and beyond the norm of military service.

I've been on several overseas deployments, as well as three deployments to hostile fire zones.
I was involved in combat operations while deployed in hostile fire zones.

I also retired with zero negative administration actions against my record.

I think my record speaks for itself.

But it doesn't take away from the fact that you are advocating a position that essentially endorses war crimes and would be a violation of the UCMJ.

Funny, I never read you doing that when Obama was droning Americans in the ME, or droning a wedding in the ME…I guess the laws only apply to Trump, right?

Obama was acting in accordance with the broad powers granted to combat Al Qaeda.

These fishing boats aren't in Al Qaeda.

"Ooh, there was an American Citizen in that Terror Camp in Yemen. Let's cry some crocadile tears."
