Thomas Massie's ex accuses him of hush money offer

Interesting point. Deliberately luring a woman into a position of dependency and then making more and more revolting (for her) sexual demands is not illegal. Nor do I know of anyone calling for him to be prosecuted. Publicly shamed, yes. Prosecuted, no.

I would be interested to know whether you, yourstruly, thinks that would be immoral?

By the same token, it is not illegal or immoral just to be mentioned in the Epstein Files. Yet Massie has obsessed over publicly shaming men who are mentioned in the files, even if Epstein did not accuse them of anything in the files and even if they are not even alive anymore and cannot defend themselves.

I guess that gander sauce doesn't taste the way Massey thought it would.

Release the files and let's find out whether Massie did anything illegal or immoral.

And this is why MAGA don't want you Trump supporters longer.

Why do Republicans never believe the women?

FFS, did you miss the whole Epstein law debate? The discharge petition fight?

Also.

Let's say West is 100% accurate in her claim, where the illegal or immoral part?

1. She was an adult when this supposedly occurred.
2. She wasn't a prostitute.
3. Massie wasn't married.

Did you happen to see West's friends post? Exposing how the $5000 Massie gave her was to help her with her find a new divorce attorney? Her own friend, without actually saying, called her friend a gold digger.

No, I saw it. How does that answer my question?

If she is $100 accurate in her claim, Massie acted creepy in a sexual way after talking her into quitting her job and moving the DC to take a job that he had a lot of influence over. Would you want that to happen to your young female loved one? If it did would you say, well, my princess is an adult so she'd fair game?

Is that the video with the bearded guy talking? I watched about half a minute and realized that West's friend wasn't in the video, it was just this guy talking and reading a post. I never watch amateur talking heads on Youtube. I don't need someone showing me something and telling me what to believe about someone else's post. If I went further into the video, would it be West's "closest friend" trashing her on camera? With friends like that . . .

Did YOU watch the video of West and her sworn Q&A with her attorney? Maybe she lied her ass off, but at least it was her appearing and telling her story. There's no way to verify that second-hand post.

Bottom line is that there is legitimate doubt whether this Massie is not only a creeper but also a world-class hypocrite or not. I'm not from Kentucky, and I'm not a Republican, but if I were both, I would as soon vote for his opponent in the primary than wait for more dirt to come out in October when he is facing a Democrat. Your party, guy.

I wish I could put it better, but I cannot:

Next week, the people of the 4th Congressional District of Kentucky have a chance to punt that useless poser Thomas Massie through the goalposts of failure. Let’s hope they do. This ridiculous clown was merely a tiresome curiosity when the Republicans had a decent margin in the House, but then, he found himself with a little bit of heat because of the current small margin. And he made the best of it, through shameless lies and cringe-worthy self-promotion, going from marginal mediocrity to an active abscess on the buttocks of the party. It’s time to lance that boil.

I would have said "drop kick" not "punt," but other than that, spot on.

It goes on . . .

Libertarians are useless at best, and it’s worse when they are active co-conspirators with the Democrats. There’s this idea that libertarians are actually Republicans who simply like dope, but that’s not so. They’re like that mythical creature we used to hear about in the ‘90s, the fiscally conservative but socially liberal voter who inevitably voted however the Democrats wanted. And that’s what Massie does, though he tries to cloak it in the garments of principle. It’s unclear whether he’s ever actually passed any legislation of his own, though he’s always eager to propose bills; he’s unable to get anyone to join him. That’s because everybody hates him. That’s because he’s a jerk.

I knew he was corrupt. I'm not surprised. He might fool some. Not me.

Thomas Massie's ex accuses him of hush money offer.
Axios | 5/13/26 |
Massie is accused by an ex-girlfriend of making a hush money offer after she (the girlfriend) was dismissed from a job arranged by an associate of Massie, when the associate and Massie had a falling out.

I heard she was paid directly by Miriam to say that

You notice that weirdly valuable thing too, huh? He is the best republican the democrats ever owned.

A small nitpick: he consistently votes no on republican spending bills. He doesnt abstain or vote present. doesn't that make him worth a whole Democrat, at least on those votes?
It’s makes him a principled Republican, one of a very small minority
