For all of you that picked against my Steelers - :finger3:

Here we go Steelers! :gs:

Since everybody picked against my Broncos - :finger3:

The road to the Superbowl leads through Denver, where Pittsburgh will find a Stop sign.

god i wish the eagles didnt blow it this season. All i can think about is how we could smoke either the Seahawks or Panthers with the Eagles team we had last year.

You mean the Eagles last year vs the Seahawks this year? Not a chance. Beaten, perhaps - cuz "Any given Sunday"...but not 'smoked' as in 42-0. That score sound familiar? ;)

It should be a pretty good game. I see them fairly matched. Edge to Denver with the HFA but the Steelers on their emotional roll.

I see this one again going close into the 4th Q where the Steelers end it.

Steelers 29
Broncos 14

Super Bowl XL:

Seattle 38
whichever chumpy team shows up from the AFC: 10

:seahawks:

If the Steelers were to play in the bowl, and execute the way they did against Indy (and the refs actually open their eyes) - They can't be beat. But it would take nearly as good a game to get by the Hawks. Wouldn't mind watching that game!

The Hawks are a wider offensive threat than the Colts, so I think the defense would have its hands full. But I agree, that would be my Super Bowl matchup of choice.

Yea 42-0 against the 3rd string Eagles. Im talking the high powered offense and defense of the 2004 Eagles not the craptacular 2005 installment. Last years Eagles team would have mopped the floor with Seattle or Carolina and then be able to rest their starters for the 2nd half. 42-0? Thats allittle generous. It'd probably be a much bigger Eagles victory then that.

What'd they do in 2004 but choke in the superbowl? These results don't show 'domination'.

They dont? 13-1 before they gained homefield and packed it. In those games, they won 8 of 13 by 10 points or more. Their 2 playoff wins they won by 13 pts and 17 pts. Then they lost in the Super Bowl to the defending champs by 3 points despite a bad effort from McNabb.

How is that not domination? They only got blown out in 1 game all year and destroyed pretty much everyone else including the 2 NFC teams they faced in the playoffs.
