I don't live in California, but gas is higher this week in the Midwest without any refineries shutting down.California will keep them open until the election. After that they will close them
Enjoy the high prices

It's a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. I found that out in the mid-1970s.California is already the most expensive state in the lower 48 to live in, and it's a good place to avoid going to whenever you can.
Works great for Venezuela.Old story...The state plans on keeping them open even if the state has to run them.

2024 the US produced 13.3 million barrels a day making 2024 the highest producing year for US crude. You suck at lying.Democrats hate oil yet are also pussies when it comes to taking the heat for their policies that negatively impact prices.
Regardless of the product or service, government overregulation and taxation will negatively impact the price.
I paid $2.66 in gray court SC today.Meh, I'll have a Coke.
Looking at gas buddy gas prices in LA they are currently around $3.83.....Looks like they are benefiting from the Trump presidency despite the best efforts of Newsome.
$2.94 in my AO.
Read what you just posted and try and come up with the economic answer as to why and how something can be produced at record levels and yet prices remain so high.In

Up here in FAR Northern CA, prices today are 3.54 to 3.60 per gallon. Down from during Biden when it was $4.00 a gallon and higher.I doubt that more than a few stations have gas priced that low in LA. And this is about all of California.
AAA has California average at $4.559.
And this is why you lost.Works for me. I think they should make it $10.00/gallon so that the other two dollars can be used to help offset fuel prices for the rest of the nation...
And this is why you lost.
There's one answer that works for that.Read what you just posted and try and come up with the economic answer as to why and how something can be produced at record levels and yet prices remain so high.
