That claim is absolutely untrue. Anyone with half a brain knows it when they read how the Officers are chosen.

Waiting for an answer as to why this impartial, unpolitical organization replaced the Director before his 4 years was up? Since its inception that has NEVER happened before. What was different this year?

MY ANSWER to you is that the head of the CBO RESIGNED OVER A YEAR AGO, when the REPUBLICANS were in power and the REPUBLICANS did NOT take the time to replace him before the November elections...

THIS IS WHY we have a new cbo head picked by the Democrats....

Now, ret sgt, tell me again why you think the Dems in power now hiring the head of this position was for "political" reasons? He was not replaced by them, he was not fired by them? He went on to bigger and better things OVER a year ago?
