Of course you and every tax payer has the right to do their taxes in their own best interests as long as it legal.
There are responsibilities we have to pay our debts so we dont leave them to our childern who will have their own challenges to overcome and DONT need to be burdened with our messes or even our parents messes.
I for balenced budgets and pay downs of the debt but NOT doing in such a way we become a cold and crass country who ignores the truely needy.
It can be done and its just has not been done by this current R party for decades now.

not if you don't want to pay the minimum legally allowed tax. To not make the effort to minimize your taxes is your decision, not mine. I chose to take my taxes to an accountant who finds me every possible legal deduction and loophole. It is my right as a citizen.
My point is; however, why should I have to hide my money that I bust my butt for, from my own government?
