8. Housekeeper
9. Paved Driveway
10 Inground Pool
11 Flew somewhere on vacation
I grew up working class, we had 3 of the 11. My kids had 10 of the 11 growing up.
 
No, it just meant you were middle class.

My family was middle class. My dad worked and mom stayed home with 4 kids.
We had one thing on that list, few of the kids in my neighborhood had more than three of those things

One kid in my neighborhood, his stepfather owned a well drilling business. He had all of them except the pool.
They were rich
 
When I grew up, if you went away to Summer Camp you were rich.

Most of us just hung around the neighborhood playing pick up baseball games and swimming if we could.
 
It happens when you don't cull the Sheeple Herd .

I remember getting our first color TV in the early 1980’s. MTV was brand-new and a HUGE cultural phenomenon.

I remember shopping for that TV. I remember when my dad was paying for the TV, I was watching the showroom models which were turned to MTV and the Clash’s video “Rocking the Casbah” was playing.

 
When I was a kid, I got 25 cents a week allowance
Kids who got a dollar were rich
