This is why none of our EU "allies" are willing to protect the flow of oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz

I was reading about that. Begs the question as to why fuel prices have drastically increased in England for instance.

No idea. There's no reason why gas should be going up in the US either. It's not like we have a shortage of oil and refining capabilities.

And all this Green stuff. The idealogues promising this dreamworld to solve our energy issues.

Because like America there is a severe shortage of public money --- technically known as Bankruptcy.

It's because the EU only gets 3.8% of that oil and gas. Europe gets 60% of their LNG and 21% of their crude oil from the US, depending on Norway, and Kazakhstan for the rest. The majority of crude oil passing through the Strait goes to China, India, South Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries.

This is somewhat of a conundrum. I can't see China getting involved in keeping the Strait open, and Indian military involvement there would be a major clusterfuck, because they're at odds with China. I think if Europe isn't willing to help us with this problem, we should cut off all oil and gas exports to them. South Korea and Japan also needs to step up and make some kind of contribution.

Due to the scale of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the entire ecosystem of the Gulf of Mexico was affected which required unprecedented restoration efforts.

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill is recognized as the worst oil spill in U.S. history. Within days of the April 20, 2010 explosion and sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico that killed 11 people, underwater cameras revealed the damaged wellhead pipe was leaking oil and gas on the ocean floor about 42 miles off the coast of Louisiana. By the time the well was capped on July 15, 2010 (87 days later), an estimated 3.19 million barrels of oil had leaked into the Gulf.

The well was located over 5,000 feet beneath the water’s surface in the vast frontier of the deep sea—a permanently dark environment, marked by constantly cold temperatures just above freezing and extremely high pressures.

5 days ago — The Trump administration late last week approved a $5 billion oil drilling project in ultradeep waters of the Gulf of Mexico .

The project by British energy giant BP would be about 250 miles off the coast of Louisiana. The company projects it will produce 80,000 barrels of oil per day from six wells starting in 2029 in a section of the seafloor that is estimated to hold 10 billion barrels of crude.

Known as Kaskida, it would be the company’s second deep-water project in the Gulf since the Deepwater Horizon explosion in 2010, which set off the worst oil spill disaster in U.S. history.

Opponents said the extreme pressure and high temperatures required to operate in waters deeper than 5,600 feet heighten the risk of a blowout that could endanger Gulf communities and the marine ecosystem. Environmental groups are expected to challenge the project in court.

Also on Friday, Energy Secretary Chris Wright invoked emergency powers to allow a company to restart an oil pipeline off the California coast that state officials have kept offline since it ruptured in 2015 and caused one of the worst spills in state history. The Energy Department also approved an immediate 13% increase in exports at a liquefied natural gas terminal run by Venture Global in Louisiana.

Thank the eco nuts who forced it to be built in deep water.

All the experts said that the Covid Killer Jabs would produce a race of sub species Mutants with the RNA affecting the DNA forever .
Interesting that the most jabbed nation was Israel .
Rather lends support to the assertion that they and the Gullible Americans could form the first Zomby Army

Nope. By the 1990s, most easily accessible "shallow" reserves had already been found and exploited. The government continued to offer leases in deepwater areas because that is where the massive reservoirs remained.
ECO fanatics wanted them as far away as possible
