This is Why Anti DEI Supporters and Anti DEI Policies are Racist.

Defeating racially biased preferencing is not racist
DEI is not racially biased, therefore continuing to make claims that the blacks and only blacks who are getting jobs because of an emphasis on diversity are all unqualified is racist.

Is hiring based on skin color racist or not?

Organizations do not need "a work force that looks like America." They need a workforce that has the intelligence to perform well. That workforce will have a lighter complexion than America.

This pretty much sums it up.

I think he's paid to post here.

Nah, I'm very happy blasting you racists. I worked for 42 years, so I don't have to do anything. However, your life would be much better if you chose to address the white racism in this forum instead of contributing to it.

As some people celebrate Trump shutting down DEI in government they can't understand why they are being called racists. That's because their arguments always involve the claim that the policy is for blacks and the blacks who get the jobs are inherently unqualified or inferior to the white candidates that were supposedly passed over.

Furthermore making it about race, or specifically about blacks shows the overt racism in the opposition. DEI was never just for blacks.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks which seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination on the basis of identity or disability

It includes gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, age, culture, class, religion, or opinion.

If not for DEI, there would be no Governor Greg Abbott. There would not be a Kriti Noem or Pam Biondi. Every white woman in this forum bragging about a career wouldn't exist either. An individual Trumps age who wants a job would have no chance. I can keep going. So this entire time when I have been calling those who oppose DEI and affirmative action racists, it's because by the definition of the word, the belief that a group is inherently superior or inferior has been the argument made by every person here who has argued against these policies. Not one of you ever took the time to consider that blacks aren't the only people who are included in DEI or Affirmative Action.

You're a racist.

Black social pathology is the reason for white racism.

People who dislike Orientals and Jews resent their intelligence, their success, and their prosperity.

Get over it loser.

That is only true if the Communist Party member will be working with classified information. If Communist Party members had been working for the Statement Department, as McCarthy charged, the United States would have been less likely to support the Shah of Iran and Ngo Diem Diem. Consequently, the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and the War in Vietnam could have been avoided.

Apparently the only way this dude would be able to get a job at Target is if he didn’t have to compete on a level playing field.

No, that's YOUR version of it. The argument has been about the MOST qualified candidate, that could be someone of any color...white, black, Asian, Hispanic...whatever. it's when you make a choice based on a skin color quota, does the question of, did the most qualified person get the job?

If a white man and a black man both apply for a job and the black man gets the job because he was more qualified and a better fit for the job, then that is the best choice for the company. If the white man is more qualified, but they have to hire the black man due to DEI, then the company didn't make the nest choice.

Not one of you ever took the time to consider that blacks aren't the only people who are included in DEI or Affirmative Action

If white people are being hired because of DEI, that is also another good reason to get rid of it...though, I've still yet to see you provide evidence where a company's DEI policy is to hire more white people.
