Yes, Kirk could be construed as controversial. But we also have to go by how he lived his life. He said a lot of things that modern-day Democrats or Republicans would think is controversial. Both sides of the aisle obviously more people on the left might be put off by his comments on Christianity.

But the bottom line is he associated with different races and with women in a professional environment. This is very critical to the conversation.

I haven't ever seen Jewish people getting preferential treatment in flight schools. Now if you see a five foot eight Jew on an NBA Team, you are free to question his competence without being called racist. Jews have been in love with education for at least a thousand years, the result is they have been selectively breeding for intelligence. That is why Jews have higher participation in the ranks of doctors and scientists than their numbers on the population would suggest.

If you are headed into surgery and you see the surgeon is someone who is white, whose father was a big donar to his school, and who had a reputation for using his money to compensate for his son's weaknesses, laziness and lack of discipline......you'd be worried as hell....that or you'd be stupid.

Jewish, Black, Green......don't really care.

If someone gets somewhere (like into the pilot's seat because anything other than merit) then you might have questions.
