This is a genius idea; you should listen.

No, the VA costs very little.
It is much more efficient for government to hire the doctors and nurses directly, instead of paying a corporation big bucks to do the hiring.
I’m not a VETERAN

The idea is sound. Free healthcare is possible financed completely by industry and business in automatic small percentage taxation added to pricing. There will never be free healthcare in America provided by government. Payng a liitle more for everything is the only way free healthcare can work. Capitalism can provide this easily. There just needs to be a will to do it.

Industry and business adding a small percentage to pricing is taxation for socialism.
When something is done because it improves society even though it lowers profits slightly, that IS socialism.
Capitalism is where you try to make the most profit, regardless of how much harm you cause.

Capitalism says nothing about making a profit.

You are astoundingly ignorant.

Wrong.
Profit motivation is all that capitalism says.
If you can gain a monopoly on the capital needed for investment in production equipment, then you can monopolize production and charge whatever you want.

Was Genghis Kahn a socialist or capitalist? Obviously, a capitalist.

But once we have fed doctors at the VA, we could easily open it up to everyone. Think of all the money that would save, on those inflated ER bills we now are being forced to pay.
I want MY OWN DOCTOR

All human societies are all always based on socialism.
Like families for example.
Of course, of course. Everything is socialism. And nothing is.

Socialism is "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma," and only a gifted intellectual, such as yourself, can truly understand it.

Your ignorance does not override reality.

And no, Genghis Kahn did not establish a free market economy with private property rights, idiot.

Why are you so opposed to single payer, with the government being in charge? The problem with your Capitalist Healthcare Bill is those tasked with funding it will, as all good capitalists do, shift the cost onto the customers, you and me. Costs will never be structured and contained, and before you know it, we will be right back where we started.
The cost of a national health service (NHS) system is paid for by tax the government collects. So everyone/most pay employment tax, sales tax, inheritance tax etc .. which goes into a big g pot and the NHS is simply funded out of that. I think on average, Americans pay $1,000 per month on health insurance, in the UK, we on average contribute £500 per month in tax towards the NHS.

Not at all.
Socialism is a voluntary community decision to create a shared resource.
It can only happen if everyone has adequate political representation, so when someone claims socialism reduces political representation, they are simply lying.
There is no confusion inherently.
But there are lots of propaganda campaigns to deliberately attempt to add confusion.
Goes back to the anti-Bolshevik propaganda around 1890 or so.
If you want a simple example to illustrate its simplicity, consider when the employees decided to buy the Chicago Northwestern Railroad? That is an example of socialism. It does not change the political system in any way.
It is just an economic option available if people want to choose it.
It forces nothing.
But if laws are passed to prevent something like a state petroleum company to pump and refine oil under public lands, then that is when capitalism becomes illegal extortion.

The inflated ER bills are to provide free care for illegal aliens.

I do not care about inflated ER charges, but they are supposed to be subsidized by tax money, not other patients.
What I am talking about is that all medical charges in the US are over twice what the same procedures would cost in all other countries, whether they have public health care or not.
The US medical industries are out of control and need better price regulation.
The best way to reduce medical prices would be to eliminate the insurance industry layer, since they do not provide anything at all, except costs.
