This date in 1963

Ruby was a tremendous guy, just an ordinary Joe who owned a big Dallas nudie bar.

The government tried to crucify him for his act of vengeance afterwards, even though all he was doing was to try and bring closure to Jackie O and the Kennedy spawn.

I don't buy the theories. I've stood on the sidewalk, right below the window of the the Book Depository. Dealy Plaza is alot smaller than it looked on television, and most any well-trained Marine could have easily gotten off three rounds, even from an antiquated Italian Carcano.

His choice of rifles sucked, though. For ten bucks more, he could have bought a scoped M-1917 Enfield. I would have gone with the $89 Garand...

When he died, Oswald had $200 to his name.
Spending $89 on a Garand M1 was out of his price range.

$19.95 was about all he could afford.

Which refutes the idea of some grand conspiracy. You would think the assassination of a President would warrant an investment in a top grade sniper rifle by the Mafia, Russia or CIA

Ruby worked for the people who killed JFK

Ruby never worked for Oswald
For the people Oswald worked for.

If Oswald worked for the Mafia, Russians or CIA he never would have been caught by the Dallas Police

After the shooting, Oswald wandered down the stairs and ended up taking a bus to make his escape.

The Mafia, CIA or Russian agents would have had a car waiting downstairs for him. It would have been the last ride Oswald ever took.

Do you know what the term "Patsy" means?

Why allow your “patsy” to be captured by the police?

In a real conspiracy, Oswald would have permanently disappeared after the shooting

That's the point. You let the Patsy take the fall then you have a loyal soldier take the Patsy out. It give the puppeteers plausible deniability

A $19.95 Carcano was a top grade sniper rifle in the hands of a Marine shooting 88 yards at a target moving 11 mph. The limousine was also moving away from the shooter, not horizonyally. So he could have made that shot as far as 200 yards with the same rifle.

Ruby was self-employed, didn't work for anyone. He owned a humble strip joint

"Humble strip joint" :auiqs.jpg:

I've been to a few titties bars, but never encountered any of this "humility" you mentioned. Guess I was hanging out in the wrong ones.
Strip joint owners were even shadier in the 60's than they are today

I can believe that. Even today, the entire goal of those girls is to separate you from every dollar you can come up with.

No tot mention laundering money, acting as a front for drug and sex trafficking etc etc

End of Conspiracy

On November 24, Ruby drove into town with his pet dachshund Sheba (whom he would often jokingly refer to as his "wife") to send an emergency money order at the Western Union on Main Street to one of his employees. The time stamp of completion for the cash transaction on the money order was 11:17 a.m. Ruby then walked one half block to the nearby Dallas police headquarters, where he made his way into the basement via either the Main Street ramp[21] or a stairway accessible from an alleyway next to the Dallas Municipal Building.[22] At 11:21 a.m. CST—while authorities were escorting Oswald through the police basement to an armored car that was to take him to the nearby county jail—Ruby stepped out from a crowd of reporters with his .38 Colt Cobra revolver[23] aimed at Oswald's abdomen and fired a single round at point blank range, mortally wounding him.[24
