I think we're all pretty aware of reality and where things stand, certainly things could be better, but they could also be a lot worse. All of the doomsday bullshit is put out there to manipulate your feelings and your beliefs, and it works on a good percentage of people. Life is life, rich people will always be the influencers and the 'rulers' of the world, it's always been that way and it always will be that way. As long as I can have a career that I enjoy, raise a family, own a nice property, save money, explore and freely travel the world, then life is good. I've seen no change to any of that in the US, and if that ever starts to change you will see outrage like you've never seen before.
