“This administration has it exactly backward,”

I get the unshakable feeling this is one of those times Dotard is doubling down on idiocy out of spite. Just to be contrary, cuz he can. Like with tariffs. The more economists write about the destructive nature of tariffs the more he wants to impose their use on the country. Maybe if those warning about climate change told trump coal is excellent for the environment he'd support renewable energy.
Imagine having to defend this guy. The stuff he does and says and posts, the way he behaves, every damn day.

Although, when someone is in thrall with him, maybe it's easy. Maybe they don't see a thing. Who knows.

Green/clean energy is exponentially dirtier and destroys soils, rivers, ecosystems, etc.
Perzactly.... Those goofy-assed windmills will NEVER EVER produce more energy than it took to put them in place and maintain them.

Then you need to dispose of them when they wear out.

They're a net negative on the environment.

Couldn't wait to show what a total ******* ignoramus you are, could ya?

Coal mines are generally strip mines...Ore mines are open pit.
There is little difference and both are used for coal mining jackass

Let’s be real honest no source is 100% non-intrusive. But geothermal, small-scale hydro, rooftop solar, and nuclear are the closest to delivering reliable energy with minimal environmental footprint. With every environment across the world it means each region will lean on what fits its geography best. There is no all in one solution, wind and solar farms do have a negative effect on the environment.

Sounds like the kind of message I'd be circulating if I were a legacy energy company exec worried about the future of demand for my product given the destructive way (to the environment) it is produced.

They exist in an alternative reality. I don't know how else to explain why they aren't repulsed by that grotesque excuse for a human being.

There's a big difference...Once again, you reveal yourself as one of the forum's leading idjit savants.

Coal is strip mined as it's a form of rock strata, not ore dispersed in other minerals.
So you claim that coal is never open pit mined?

You gonna run with that jackass?

Need a cookie little fella?

Sucks to be so pompously wrong all the time huh?
I said "generally", nitwit.

Not only do you know fuckall about mining, you can't even comprehend the English language.

YOU have never seen an open pit coal mine, or probably any other mine for that matter, and just needed an angle to wring your hands and whine and cry about the environment.

Energy outside of coal or oil is woke and commie and sent by Satan.

I thought everyone knew that.
Wind power costs more for electricity. Reliability issues at times and there are environmental concerns.

Energy production in the US is not in perfect balance. An energy producing plant doesn't necessarily close because another opens. These wind farms having construction halted means less additional power will be available in a country in need of more power production.
More oil wells, pipelines, refineries, nuclear power plants, etc. is needed. Green energy can expand on its own and will continue to do so using common sense.

You did say generally

So if you know that there is also open pit coal mines, why were you calling me ignorant for mentioning it?

How does that make me ignorant?

Oh wait. Never mind. You’re another Trump Troll

Link. And there are environmental concerns about all energy sources that

It's intermittent, unreliable, and has a net negative environmental and energy conversion profile.

The moonbats have replaced industrial revolution energy creation with that of the 13th century, and they act like they're all high tech.
