Can you point out the difference in monetary policy? If I'm not mistaken, borrow to spend more than you have is a favorite pastime of BOTH Party's. China is in their own pocket- there are over 1 billion Chinese, and China has been here longer than Europe, and the US combined- Europe and the US take advantage of cheap labor, everywhere they can- for that, those wages increase the standard of living wherever they are.
Yes, politicians sold their soul to a devil, but, way before most of them even knew China existed- China, like the US looks out for it's own best interest and no doubt takes advantage where it can- just like the US and Europe- we live in a global economy. Period. That is NOT going to change. What can change is attitude. A change in attitude can open doors.

In the US the gov't controls trade that it doesn't really have the authority to do- when did it start doing that? How? There are 300 million people in this country, who, if they worried about themselves vs what they're told, by partisan hacks, would be better served.
