America is so loaded with quack cures, bogus products and stuff that breaks down, I thought I'd poll on stuff that actually does work, or do what it says it'll do.

My list so far is short, feel free to add.

1. Rain-X.

2. Advil.

3. Duct tape.

4. Hondas.

5. Gaviscon chewable antacids. They rule!

6. Yukon Jack Canadian Liqueur (not to be used in conjunction with Gaviscon). It'll get you there.

As to #3, around here we call that, "Kentucky Chrome". It also rules!

Excellent. I came back from Canada through Michigan with something like that, and yeah, it did the trick.

Sort of a cross between Southern Comfort and white gasoline. Outstanding!

Just curious. What do you pay for a shot of Crown? And where are you located?

Eating less and exercising more
Colt Revolvers
Tire Irons
Mag Lite
And although we can all agree Microsoft doesn't work, I think we can all agree it's dependable...we can always depend on it not to work.

If I had to guess, I would say a shot of crown with gingeral would be roughly $6.00+, depending on where you go. You will usually get Canadian Club unless you specifically ask for Crown. The last CC and gingerale I had was $4.25, and it wasn't in the nicest place in town either, so that's probably a rock bottom price :D. I'm also located in Ottawa Canada.
