Thanks for the rep, Said1. I appreciate it. Yep. Having 45 beagles at times was a real 3-Ring circus! However, it was great fun. My wife and I ran a kennel and bred and sold beagle puppies. We had quite a good reputation and were fairly well known in the world of AKC field trial beagles. We had good success with showing the dogs with the U.B.G.F. and in the field trials. Beagles are the best dogs in the world. We had to close our kennel for health reasons. The wife was in a very bad auto accident and I developed some cardiac problems but it was truly a wonderful experience for 16 years of our lives.

Not to many seem familiar with them...
This has brought back some heart warming old memories.. my parents have moved on but the times we shared still bring sweet smiles and yearning sadness.
Dad was in the Navy during WW2, that's about it.. As I recall there was a recession in the early 60's and for some reason we ended up in N.Z.. Both my parents grew up in Kingston. My Grandfather was the railway, station master as I recall. -
