Thieves targeting steering wheels in one Chevy model across metro Detroit

Bailey says someone had broken into her car and stolen her steering wheel, and she wasn’t the only one.
“When officers came, they said I was one of six vehicles just down this road,” Bailey said.
And they all have one thing in common.
“They were all Malibu's,” Detective James Thornborn with the Allen Park Police Department said.

Someone must have placed a bulk order.

Well without a steering wheel the car will have to sit and then they can come back for the rest of it I guess. Not like you can pick up a new one at the local autozone
