‘They’re all begging me’: Trump’s 2024 veep tryouts get underway...could be Tim Scott or an Asian American in California, somebody Hispanic in Texas

The whole post is just a fucked up word salad.

Out of curiosity, what was the percentage of Union workers in the 1950's?

Big Labor reached its peak in the 1950's, and most the American people lived a lot worse.

Of course, business agents and union organizers were doing well and the same with the nation's Italian clubs which catered to them

Big Labor had it's peak and the middle class grew exponentially. Created suburbs, were the manufacturing hub of the world and a creditor nation.

You're just a whiner.

"Experienced and talented people"???? Loons, hacks and the last black man left in the party.

On the left, they had a very talented and experienced group running for President in 2020, some of whom are now in Cabinet, and some in the Senate. Sanders is too old. AOC is too young.

.
name one

Yes democrats are putting regulations in place that makes it almost impossible for the regular man to start a business. Which means you’re going to have to either work for a very rich corporation or the government..
What business do you plan to start?

Weren't you born in 1957? Things changed and improved rapidly after WW2. Veterans didn't go back to sharecropping and coal mining. They went to school on the GI Bill.. and bought little track houses with kitchen windows overlooking the back yard.

In the 1950's America's middle class had 50% of the wealth in the country due to Labor Unions.

Today, it has just 17%.

I know. The middle class is shrinking. If we keep this up we can become Venezuela. Chavez was elected because Venezuela's middle class was gone.

The poverty rate in America reached its peak in the 1950's- the heyday of unionism.

Home ownership was a lot less back then as well.

The homes that people built were wee compared to the McMansions of later years, millions of families in the 1950's got by with just a single car and a single black and white TV.

This was all when Big Labor was at its peak.

Do you live in a McMansion?

That's not surprising since the GOP under country club president Ike didn't use government to address the issue. Starting with Democratic President JFK started programs to address poverty, while republic pols decided to push money to the top earners.

Corporations are people too...
