They’ll Take Your Most Valued Possession

Who should have the right to raise and teach morality to children, the parents of said children, or the state?
Finally a question of truth. Parrents are the only people responsible for the morality and growth of the children they bear.

At some point over the last forty years chidden ceased to be the responsibility of their parents and became property of the state.

Abortion has been reduced to property rights as well. If the unborn dies due to a criminal act such as beating up and robbing the mother it most states it can be charged as a homicide but not if the woman consents to having her unborn child killed. Other than property rights what's the issue here?

What's left of the US barely resembles the United States I grew up in.

The fight may not be over, but the totalitarians certainly appear to have the upper hand.

"Over the past several decades, the progressive Left has successfully fulfilled Antonio Gramsci’s famed admonition of a “long march through the institutions”. In almost every Western country, its adherents now dominate the education system, media, cultural institutions, and financial behemoths."

Only a tezaan could be this nescient. An unborn fetus is not a child. A fetus cannot live outside the womb without considerable medical aide.

If so, every word in every one of my posts, is 100% true, accurae and correct.

Your party certainly beleives the opposite.....get your story straight.

It took a long time to get where we are today and it will be a long road getting back to where we should be. Just focus on winning one battle at a time and eventually you win the war.

"An unborn fetus is not a child."

It is a human being from the moment of conception.

Provide the etymology....

fetus (n.)
late 14c., "the young while in the womb or egg" (tending to mean vaguely the embryo in the later stage of development), from Latin fetus (often, incorrectly, foetus) "the bearing or hatching of young, a bringing forth, pregnancy, childbearing, offspring,"

They've worked to get to this point for nearly two centuries.

The Constitution was a distillation of the views of Madison, Jefferson and Franklin. Progressivism is from the views of Rousseau, Hegel and Marx.

Now, let's quote 'progressives,' also known as totalitarians.

The Germans have a history of embracing authoritarian rule. As the German philosopher Hegel said, “The state says … you must obey …. The state has rights against the individual; its members have obligations, among them that of obeying without protest” (Ralf Dahrendorf, Society and Democracy in Germany).

We are witnessing the sort of mass psychosis that infected those Good Germans of the 30s and 40s.

Fetus like "embryo" is just a stage in human development. Once the first division after insemination is complete you have a new human being separate and apart from either parent with it's own unique DNA.

To the pro abortion crowd calling it a "fetus" is just a way to attempt to dehumanize the baby and remove the guilt therefore associated with killing your child for the sake of convenience.

The trouble is we're seeing it on both sides. Thus the exponential rate of polarization over the last 20 years or so.

The country is so divided today I'm not sure it can ever be put back together as a single functioning nation except under totalitarian rule.

I don't see any difference with the post you've linked to.

They claim the "right" to kill a human being simply for purposes of convenience.

Democrats are a force to bring this stage of civilization back to pagan times.

As president of the Pessimist's Club, I've often said we are simply circling the drain.

I'll get the application right out to you.

I'm actually still an optimist. I see a way back but it' ain't gonna be pretty and it's going to take another repartee realignment like we say in the 80's/early 90"s.

Well even some of the harshest cultures like the ancient Greeks and Vikings would at least let all the babies be born and then given a test to see if they were viable, usually leaving them out in the cold overnight. That eliminated the weak for the good of society but to kill your own child in the womb was unforgivable under most circumstances.

9. According to Democrats/Progressives, no deviation from their authority is allowed…..for anyone.

Eliminate the family

Leftist: Let's use coronavirus to eliminate 'the family'

'The time of corona is an excellent time to practice abolishing it'

"We deserve better than the family. And the time of corona is an excellent time to practice abolishing it," wrote radical-feminist activist Sophie Lewis on the website openDemocracy.

"In short, the pandemic is no time to forget about family abolition. …

"This is a disgusting attack on traditional family values by the radical Left. It is unwarranted and unjustified assault at a time when so many are worried and uncertain about the future," he wrote.”

No disagreement just sharpening the point.

You have life at the moment of inception but until after the 2nd division you have a completely unique individual with different DNA from that of either parent or both parents combined.

One can also make the argument that most fertilized eggs don't make it ti implantation so prior to implantation it isn't yet considered to be "viable".

Once however you have implementation there's just no way to argue it's not an individual.

The body then even under the best of circumstances has a high rate of spontaneous abolition s for numerous reao0ns, u8sualol due to a genetic defect before the end of the first trimester so one can still argue that up to that point one can justify abortion but beyond that you're just getting dlose by the day to actual infantile.

About 85% of the country when polled wants some limits on abortion and what we need then is to send it back to0 the sates and let each state work out their own abortion laws which is what the constitution intended. Abortion was not a topic the FF's would ever have believed should be under Federal Purview.

I understand there are some circumstances where an abortion can be justified and I only hope I'm never the person to make that call but if it's a viable, healthy child, it should be brought to term and at that time decide if the mother is going to keep it or put it up for adoption.

98.5% are simply for convenience....
Convenience, as in having your groceries delivered rather than having to walk across the street to pick them up.....this level of consideration in deciding to execute the child you've created.

In a study of 27 nations, reasons for abortion services were found to be the following:

a. “Worldwide, the most commonly reported reason women cite for having an abortion is to postpone or stop childbearing. The second most common reason—socioeconomic concerns—includes disruption of education or employment; lack of support from the father; desire to provide schooling for existing children; and poverty, unemployment or inability to afford additional children. In addition, relationship problems with a husband or partner and a woman's perception that she is too young constitute other important categories of reasons.” Reasons Why Women Have Induced Abortions: Evidence from 27 Countries

b. A 2004 study of American women yielded similar results: “The reasons most frequently cited were that having a child would interfere with a woman’s education, work or ability to care for dependents (74%); that she could not afford a baby now (73%); and that she did not want to be a single mother or was having relationship problems (48%). Nearly four in 10 women said they had completed their childbearing, and almost one-third were not ready to have a child. Fewer than 1% said their parents’ or partners’ desire for them to have an abortion was the most important reason. Younger women often reported that they were unprepared for the transition to motherhood, while older women regularly cited their responsibility to dependents.”

"An individual human life begins at conception when a sperm cell from the father fuses with an egg cell from the mother, to form a new cell, the zygote, the first embryonic stage. The zygote grows and divides into two daughter cells, each of which grows and divides into two grand-daughter cells, and this cell growth/division process continues on, over and over again. The zygote is the start of a biological continuum that automatically grows and develops, passing gradually and sequentially through the stages we call foetus, baby, child, adult, old person and ending eventually in death. The full genetic instructions to guide the development of the continuum, in interaction with its environment, are present in the zygote. Every stage along the continuum is biologically human and each point along the continuum has the full human properties appropriate to that point." - Dr. William Reville, University College Cork, Ireland

Pretty good in layman terms but the 2nd Division is where the child get's it's own Unique DNA signature separate and apart from either parent.

10. Feminism, Inc. is simply another Democrat agency designed to “re-imagine” the relationship between an all-powerful state and family, children, marriage.

Steinem: “[Housewives] are dependent creatures who are still children…parasites.”

Simone de Beauvoir: “No woman should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one.”

Betty Friedan: “[Housewives] are mindless and thing-hungry…not people. [Housework] is peculiarly suited to the capacities of feeble-minded girls. [It] arrests their development at an infantile level, short of personal identity with an inevitably weak core of self…. [Housewives] are in as much danger as the millions who walked to their own death in the concentration camps. [The] conditions which destroyed the human identity of so many prisoners were not the torture and brutality, but conditions similar to those which destroy the identity of the American housewife.”

Anti-Americanism in the schools has a long pedigree. Recall the title of then-First Lady Hillary Clinton’s 1996 book, “It Takes a Village” to Raise a Child …. She didn’t mean neighborhoods or local communities, but government in general and government schools specifically.

The network released a promo video featuring Melissa Harris-Perry, host of a weekend morning MSNBC show and professor of political science at Tulane University, who says Americans must grow beyond the idea that children belong to their parents.

… we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.”
