This is an issue I find very disturbing. Your example relates to people with a latin background, mine does not.

I know a fellow from another country who got a green card, and came here to find employment. He makes $17 an hour. His plan is to work here, and send money home so that his daughter can become a medical doctor. Then he plans to return to his country of origin himself. He does not want to become a U. S. citizen because he would lose his ability to own property in his homeland if he gave up his citizenship there.

Now there is the situation, presented free of prejudice, other than it is a foreigner using our country, our laws, and our economic system to solve his financial problems. This when we are experiencing high employment. Clearly this situation is allowed to exist under BOTH political parties. Who is to blame? Who issued a green card and why?
