I was reading around on another board that I rarely get on,but wanted to peak in on and see their reactions to the election. There are a lot of Europeans on this board,but I was still shocked at their ongoing ignorance and critism of the U.S.


They have decided that all the uneducated,hillbilly farmers are the only ones that vote for Bush because of him winning the south and states like Ohio. They really believe that the only educated people live in N.Y and Cali. They were bitter and just came right out and said we were all stupid. Only the people that knew what they were talking about and "understood" things voted for Kerry. Funniest thing,I though there were bankers,lawyers,congressman,doctors,scientists and all those kind of neat things out here in hillbilly land!!! I guess not. And anyway,who says you have to be college educated in order to study up enough to make a good decision when you vote.

I remember in the last election,there was a professor afterword that said something similar to what these Europeans were feeling. Are they that bad at loosing that they have to legitimize their loss by saying that millions of people are stupid and uneducated?!!!! You have no idea how bad this pisses me off!!!!!

European society has been in decline since the second world war. Britain, France, and Germany are barely hanging on by their fingernails. France and Germany will be the next to succumb unless they somehow manage to pull themselves away from their addiction to the socialist welfare state.

France and Germany used to be the center of the world. Now they are at best second rate societies and they can't stand it. They look down their envious noses at Americans in much the same way that those rich prigs who inhereted "old" money and never had to lift a finger look down their noses at the so-called "nouveau riche". The French and Germans see in America the vitality that they used to possess and in their fits of jealously they belittle and deride Americans as "unsophisticated, uneducated, hillbillies or cowboys".

Pity them. Their situation is the result of generations of inbreeding and decades of socialism. The only solace they find is in their ignorance and arrogance.
