There is no GOP 'Civil War'

It's amazing people are still pro-Trump. It doesn't look good when flat earthers are basically one side of a "democratic" dictatorship, does it?
This has gone far beyond any kind of political matter. This is now, literally, a deep emotional attachment. It's a lifestyle. Whereas most of us observe and comment on this kind of thing, they're living it.

Never before seen in America.

The only thing Liz Cheney has done in the last few months is attack Republicans and President Trump. Democrats support and defend her.

She’s a uniparty globalist. May as well be a Democrat.

So you’re right, there is no Civil War in the GOP. We reject her and any like her, just like we did with Romney and Mc-shit-Stain.
Yes. Telling the truth is against everything the GOP stands for.
Democrats arent on friendly terms with truth
Other than telling the truth about trump's big lie, why did the GOP dump Cheney?
well lets see, the vast majority of the party supports Trump and Cheney won't quit attacking him and the majority of the party, of course she is free to do that but not from a leadership position.
The vast majority of the party believes a LIE
Cheney is not buying into it. She thinks building the party around a LIE is not good for the party
again her perogratative but not as a leader of a group that does not agree.
So if your group refuses to admit that the Emperor has no clothes
You are expected to go along with it

Even thou there is not a civil war, it doesn’t negate the schism within the party.

Didn’t Lincoln warn those about a divided house not being able to stand?

that didn't happen. BUT a leader that doesn't support the majority of the followers has no position as a leader.

I think that is how we ended up with Trump

He saw the bizarre claims coming out of the extreme right and exploited them. He told them what they want to hear.

In doing so, he created his own truth and Trumps truth became preferable to the actual truth.
No matter how bizarre it was

It's not the party's fault that there are so many traitors in the party who claimed to be Republicans when they ran for office, but turned out to be Deep State Stooges.
But does it mean that we're in a civil war every single time somebody goes against the grain?

Well....to a dishonest Democrat...yes. Democrats cannot allow differing opinions. Their fascism comes to the surface whenever somebody decides to stand up for their own principles.....regardless how lame those principles can be. (except when it comes to supporting racism, Islam, or Global Warming)

Not much room for original thought or personal values in the Trump Party

Pretending that the Trump goons' attack upon democracy never happened is a denial of the blatant truth that no Party can unify behind for long. Living a lie takes its toll.

“The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”

Kevin McCarthy had candidly admitted, “The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters. He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding.”

Liz Cheney is not alone in acknowledging the truth of his words. Her being banished from Party leadership without the Party allowing debate does not negate what McCarthy had clearly stated.

The truth refuses to be banished, and will tenaciously persist in raising its ugly head, one way or another, despite desperate attempts to suppress it:

Liz Cheney refuses to rule out run for president in bid to thwart Trump

One minute they're denying it, the next minute they're calling people treasonous RINO commies. Oh well.

Here's the key to me: Are the better-known Never Trumpers going to publicly refuse to vote GOP and go third party? Any who complain but still vote GOP aren't doing much good.

The GOP's new Trumpy standards are still being concocted.

The alleged violations of House rules by non-legislating entertainer Matt Gaetz include sexual misconduct, sharing inappropriate images in the Capitol, illegal drug use, and acceptance of bribes.

The proven transgression of Liz Cheney consists of repeating the truth that Kevin McCarthy had already stated: “The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters."

Were Gaetz ever to concur with McCarthy's stating the obvious, he would be in big trouble!

The degenerate's lying about the Trump goons, hundreds of whom are being identified, arrested, and prosecuted, by claiming that antifa did it should stand him in good stead. Remember when the norm was very, very different?

“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party."

Liz Cheney has no place in the Trump Party
She made the stupid decision to go against Trump.

Republicans made a stupid decision to tie their future to Trump
81 million people said they don’t want him
Trump brought new voters to the GOP.

Well, his losing vote was the highest vote a Republican has ever got in terms of real numbers.

In terms of percentage 46.9% and 46.1% are lower than Romney got with 47.2%, more than McCain got with 45.7%, less than Dubya got with 47.9% and 50.7%, more than Dole got and Bush senior in 1992, but not 1988.

Doesn't look like Trump did anything amazing with voter numbers at all.
Trump "lost" by about 43,000 votes in three states, GA, AZ, and WI.
Trump's personality is what cost him the election, that plus the constant negative coverage by the MSM.
In 2022 and 2024 the GOP candidates should do just fine using the "America First Populist" messaging thank you.

Well, the Republicans are using populism, a simple way of getting bad politics that is all image and no substance. Then again, the Democrats aren't much better.

It's a new world of instant entertainment, where people can create their own fantasy world and live it out.

It's quite scary that such people have a vote.

Trump was the same A hole in 2016 and blaming the media doesn’t change things.

Trump lost 2020 because of his inept handling of COVID. The Trump Party now must contend with its reaction to Jan 6 .....Dems will not let them forget
Trump did not have a debate like his 1st debate in 2020 in 2016.
That 2020 debate performance probably cost him the election.
I know my wife said she couldn't vote for an AH like that.

You can try to push the 1/6 "insurrection" narrative in 2022 and 2024, but after a few years of democrat policies, the GOP should do just fine.
Democrats are doing what they said they would do
Only members of the Trump Party are outraged by Biden. Other than that, Biden has 54 percent approval
54% approval, sure, like Hillary had a 95% probability of winning. Keep tracking those "polls" as Xiden and the democrats drive the US into a ditch. He's only been in office ~100-days.
Trump had 40 percent approval and he lost BIGLY
Keep tracking those polls
Trump lost by 43,000 votes in WI, GA, and AZ, and that was due to his fucked up personality.

I like Trump's "promises kept" list.
Xidens list of "accomplishments" or goals is a disgrace:

Failed Border and immigration policies
Failed Energy policies
Military purge of Trump supporters
Failed Green New Deal
"Wokeness"
Law and Order vs Anarchy
Reprogram the US education system: Critical Race Theory vs Traditional/Family Values
God vs atheism
China and trade policies
insourcing jobs vs outsourcing jobs by taxing corporations so much they relocate
HR-1 grab for one-party rule
Make DC & PR new states taking over the US senate forever
Replacing the Electoral College with the popular vote
Totally turning the US into a socialist/failed state.
Packing the US Supreme Court with Leftists

Ah Fox News - "We report, you recognize us as a bunch of puppet hacks and turn to Newsmax."

Most of Trump's "promises kept" list is a joke, either it didn't happen but he claims he did, or it wasn't even a successful list.

I'm not going to defend Biden, I think he's not going to be a good president either. The issue I have is with Trump making this comment. It's typical Trump, trying to boost himself up again and again and saying whatever he can to achieve that, without giving a damn about anyone else or anything else.

It's amazing people are still pro-Trump. It doesn't look good when flat earthers are basically one side of a "democratic" dictatorship, does it?

First they have to believe the fantasy. That's where this goes off the rails.

One of the lead stories on the national news was 'GOP Civil War', after Liz Cheney was fired for telling the truth.

Let's be clear: There is no civil war. Republicans have three choices:

1) Join the cult
2) Be banished from the party
3) Resign

What we have is a party where 99% of its elected members have joined the cult, and 1% have faced a line of GOP snipers, and whose reelection to their House seat is in serious peril.

There was no war, there were "mopping up" operations for those brave few who refused to drink the Kool Aid, and instead chose the truth.
The Bush Cheney traitors don't know that any true conservs hate their guts. The Bush Cheneys are finished.

Amazing how you love these MFs now.........lolol

People are just objects to means to you monsters
Odd that the conservatives always loved them while they were in office and lying about WMD. I guess honesty is where conservatives draw the line.
John Kerry said he had WMDs. Shillary did........don't give me that shit.

What you called Cheney and even this weasel daughter of his in the past and what you say now is fucking laughable. When the Bush's starting sucking Willies weenie like Monica did, I said adios.
Truth is truth. That applied then as well as now.

Lol, I love posts like this. It's classic leftist debate technique. When called out on obvious hypocrisy, just dodge it by posting a completely non-responsive bumpersticker slogan and hope nobody notices your concession of the point.

It wasn't non responsive. Cheney and his daughter were weasels in the past, and were called on it. She is right on this issue, but that doesn't justify her weasel behavior in the past. She's still a weasel who happens to be right in this particular situation only.
