1) I know all that, but Superbro called me a liar for saying my parents went to school (starting in the 30s) and college (in the 40s) with black classmates.

2) When did I ever deny segregation was happening in some regions of the country, or claim that it was separate but equal?!

Newsvine seems livid that blacks in NYC during the 30s and 40s and 50s that the same opportunities that my Jewish parents did. As a result of those opportunities, my parents (and aunt and uncle, too - they were all very smart) made their way out of poverty to the middle class.
