the white privilege rhetoric is racist and anti-historical

I agree. It was a complete overreaction.

So was Rittenhouse shooting three people- but he walked.
So was Zimmerman shooting a kid- but he walked
So was Rickie Chow shooting a kid over a bottle of water- but he walked
So was Reeves shooting a man because he threw popcorn at him. - But he walked.
So was Allison stabbing a kid in the bathroom at school, but he got a sentence that was only a quarter of what Anthony got.

So was Rittenhouse shooting three people- but he walked.

Three people who tried to kill him.

So was Zimmerman shooting a kid- but he walked

A kid who tried to kill him.

Rittenhouse had a solid stand your ground defense. 4 armed attackers while he was retreating.

Zimmerman attacked by violent lean addict who repeatedly smashed his head on a concreate sidewalk.

Serious bodily injury or death must be imminent.
Lets add Michael Brown shooting the hands up dont shoot lie. He tried to take a cops gun. Hes armed and an imminent threat. He took the side walk temperature challenge

A whole 27 million? Really?

That's not even a decent sized lottery prize.
I believe people are getting tired of this. Spending bookoo dollars on improving things and the results we see every day. The money allocated is a trickle down one. Way ack then whitee stopped going to the moon and we spent all the resources on social programs. People need to assimilate and play by the rules. Those who do not have increased odds of missing out. And of course, government lackey politicians can interfere and cause housing crisis and other things that screw people over. So today, in poorer areas there is an economy within the national economy using all of the social programs as currency. And therefore, condemning the residents a living at a certain level that never gets better except those who mastered it or control it.

1) I know all that, but Superbro called me a liar for saying my parents went to school (starting in the 30s) and college (in the 40s) with black classmates.

2) When did I ever deny segregation was happening in some regions of the country, or claim that it was separate but equal?!
Well apparently, you DON'T know "all that" because it was not that segregation was happening in SOME regions of the country. The whole United States was LAWFULLY RACIALLY SEGREGATED until the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

You may be able to recall and cite the text but it's woefully apparent you haven't the faintest clue what the implications were otherwise you wouldn't still be trying to convince people that your family was on the same level as or worse off than the Black people who already were living here when your people arrived. "We ascended to upper middle class status in a single generation by doing XYZ, why can't Black people " (then you go into your spiel about unwed Black women and all the rest)?
You keep insisting that racism had nothing to do with any this but the ENTIRE COUNTRY WAS UNDER LAWFUL RACIAL SEGREGATION. That's the part you keep pretending you don't understand which is why it keeps coming up again and again.
3) You are so eager to deflect from the fact that many blacks did indeed go to school with whites 100 years ago - and that Superbro called me a liar for saying that the blacks in my parents’ neighborhood had the same educational opportunities as my parents. Now will you admit that the educational opportunities available to my poor Jewish parents in NYC were the SAME as those available to the blacks in the same city?
No one is saying that it's impossible that there were Black students who attended school with your grandparents. What's impossible is that they were had completely equal opportunities, advantages and lack of pains & punishments that their white classmates had. Acknowledging that doesn't take anything away from your family accomplishments which is why it's so confounding that you can't see this.
4) You’re trying to get me to refute or defend things I never said. C’mon…..you know I’m smarter than to fall for your sneaky tactics.
I don't ever need to TRY to get you to do or say anything. I can prove my point(s) by simply quoting you directly in the form of screenshots showing your comments, even if you asked the moderators to delete them because oftentimes your original postings still show up in my responses. Funny that you consider THAT being sneaky while you're the one trying to hide the things you've posted by having the moderators delete them.
And P.S. My family wasn’t viewed as white - they were viewed as Jews. And their lives were pretty impacted by that.
So which is it? They ascended alone & unassisted as a result of their own hard work & intelligence to upper middle class and professional careers in a single generation (or 10 years whichever is shorter) or they were pretty impacted by it? I mean how much could they have been impacted if they achieved all that you've stated in a single generation, but nonetheless as far as the U.S. government was concerned, they were white. Once again, this is what you're not getting:

Newsvine seems livid that blacks in NYC during the 30s and 40s and 50s that the same opportunities that my Jewish parents did. As a result of those opportunities, my parents (and aunt and uncle, too - they were all very smart) made their way out of poverty to the middle class. Their black neighbors and classmates were able to do the same, and some did.
Using the word "livid" in place of "angry" isn't fooling anyone Lisa. We've had this conversation before, you attempting to frame me as an "angry Black woman" is not going to fly.

I’m complaining that in liberal cities throughout America, for the past 50 years, will choose a lesser-qualified black (what’s this with the brown stuff?) over a better-qualified white due to pressure from DEI policies.
What did you say your job was before you retired? You worked in admissions right? What does that involve?

My family is a perfect example. They all fled European antisemitism in the 20th century, lost half their family to Hitler, and now are expected to pay for slavery that ended the century before they even got here?!
They have paid nothing for the enslavement of blacks.

Well, here's the thing. My family came over from Germany in 1925.

No, we didn't own slaves. But we most certainly benefited from white privilege for five generations.
My Dad's side was Irish, who lived in Hawkins Country Tennesse. They all had the last name of Hawkins, as I do.. They owned slaves and fought for the South.. I would not have, but I didn't live at that time.

So was Rittenhouse shooting three people- but he walked.

Three people who tried to kill him.
How did the 3 try to kill him? All three tried to jump him at the same time or did they each try individually?
So was Zimmerman shooting a kid- but he walked

A kid who tried to kill him.
A kid who he followed home, after the police told him not to.

The pettiness of human nature is a funny thing. Most people work hard and still have a hard life in this country. It leaves no room for them to believe anyone could have it harder than them and any suggestion is discounted as an assault to their own hard work. People are petty.

The reality is otherwise. As long as almost everyone is struggling to get by, however, there will never be any ability to empathize and the wealthy will use that pettiness to control the underclass like the OP and those of you freaked out here.
Hmmm….is that why libs continue to import desperate thirdworlders by the tens of millions…you know, keep growing that “underclass” so they can “control” politics?
I love it when you libs accidentally tell the truth.

He probably didn't get millions, or he'd be bragging he got millions. NBC made the mistake of paying him "Go Away" money instead of doing what the press should do when confronted by a shithead... tear his life apart.

I'm sure if they looked, they'd have had no problem finding classmates who'd have happily ratted him out for being a racist and misogynist shithead.

Even as a teenager young Mr. Rittenhouse is ten times the man you are.

Um, okay.

Do you know who else jumps ahead of those Valedictorians?

Legacies (White people)
Children of Staff (White People)
Dean's Interest - (those rich White people whose parents donate a lot of money ot the school)
Athletes - (Mostly white people, especially girls using Title IX Scams)

The Varsity Blues scandal showed us how the rich and affluent game the system to benefit their own children.

And while Felicity Huffman got a whopping 11 days at a Club Fed, Tanya McDowell (a black woman) got five years for lying about her address to get her kid out of a school where they had shootings on the regular.

Well, here's the thing. My family came over from Germany in 1925.

No, we didn't own slaves. But we most certainly benefited from white privilege for five generations.
Ladies and gentlemen…THIS ^^^^is woke white guilt.

What if all these commie trolls are just one person having fun with all of us?

I would actually be super impressed.

Most blacks live in democrat cities and states who control every aspect of their lives. So why do you keep voting for them.

Using humor to oppose an absurd position isnt racist. Youre not one to talk either
She’s horrible. She gets all bent out of shape because I called her “livid,” and then feels entitled to call other people racist.

She does indeed seem angry that blacks in my father’s area had no less opportunity to better themselves than he did. They all had the same opportunity to get a free college education, and some did.

And certainly my father did. With absolutely no advantages - poor boy of immigrant Jews - he was smart, applied himself, worked hard in college (and school in general), and thus went from being an 18-year-old living in a tenement with his parents to a college-educated professional with a (starter) house in the suburbs 10 years later. His black schoolmates who had the same abilities and traits did the same.

This is what gets her mad. She doesn’t want to admit that a Jew (with impoverished immigrant parents) accomplished the move from poverty to the middle class did so with the same opportunities available to blacks in his city, in the 1940s, and within the space of 10 years.

I grew up in Trenton NJ. At the high school there was a lot of friendships among blacks and whites especially the Jews. Every reunion reinforced this bond and the blacks went on to be well respected professionals. Class of 1968 the greatest class Central High ever produced.
