"The Whirl"

If the Trumpeys intefere with election processes in the future, they are going to be so unhappy with the judicial, legal, and popular pushback.

If the Trumpeys intefere with election processes in the future, they are going to be so unhappy with the judicial, legal, and popular pushback.
But not from The Following. I have come to the conclusion trumples will not only accept an attempt to either cancel elections or run for a fourth time, and a third term, they'll embrace it. Cuz..........Dear Leader.

Entire Fulbright board resigns, citing Trump administration interference

All members of the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board resigned on Wednesday, citing alleged political interference by members of the Trump administration.

In a statement posted to Substack, the dozen former board members said they “voted overwhelmingly” to resign, “rather than endorse unprecedented actions that we believe are impermissible under the law, compromise U.S. national interests and integrity, and undermine the mission and mandates Congress established for the Fulbright program nearly 80 years ago.”

Dotard continues to crush the soul of America.

The former board members touted the program’s longstanding bipartisan support, describing the program as “a bipartisan pillar of American diplomacy” and “an enduring symbol of our nation’s commitment to mutual understanding and diplomacy, academic excellence, and international cooperation.”

Trump says Elon Musk will face ‘serious consequences’ if he backs Democratic candidates

President Donald Trump told NBC News on Saturday that Elon Musk would see “serious consequences” if he backs Democratic candidates who challenge Republicans supporting the “big, beautiful bill.”

“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News’ Kristen Welker in a phone interview.

“He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he continued, without giving specifics on what that would look like.

Trump also said that he thinks his relationship with Musk is done after their public feud erupted this week.

“I gave him a lot of breaks, long before this happened, I gave him breaks in my first administration and saved his life in my first administration,” Trump said.

“I have no intention of speaking to him,” Trump added.

When asked whether he thinks his relationship with Musk is over, he said, “I would assume so.”

A private citizen has been threatened with facing "consequences" for exercising his right not to support a policy of the regime's? What consequences? What right does trump have to make such threats? Why aren't Repubs outraged by such behavior?

Cuz they are getting used to how an autocrat rules and they're okay with it.

With so many distractions, like Elon's fall from grace because Don's useful idiocy to him has expired, it's easy not to notice what going on under the surface. Why would a prez who has made so many (baseless) accusations about election interference make it easier to interfere in elections?
You've made a false assumption, moron.

How the **** did you get so stupid?

Muhammed, you are violating the rules of trolling and personal attacks on posters with nothing on the topic.

You are worthless here. You add nothing of worth. Just trashy, trashy, trashy.

How frustrating it must be for you not to be able to explain why trump would cut election security funding.
Trump didn't cut funding for election security, low IQ TDS afflicted moron.

How did you get so ******* stupid? Huffing paint? Head trauma? Fetal Alcohol Syndrome?

Trump fires former Biden chair from Nuclear Regulatory Commission

President Donald Trump has terminated Commissioner Christopher Hanson from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the latest move by the White House to assert control over independent agencies.

Hanson said in a statement Monday that he was removed from the position Friday “without cause” and “contrary to existing law and longstanding precedent regarding removal of independent agency appointees.”

Not just independent agencies, everything. Like autocrats do.

Your turbine is wrapped too tight.
**** off, you disgusting low IQ TDS afflicted moron.

Prove your case, *****. You can't do it because you're an idiot. All you do is stupidly parrot what the fake news media easily brainwashed you into believing.

You cannot present an argument to back up your unsupported assertions because you are too ******* stupid to think for yourself.

Are you nervous about the bomb in your turbine blowing up, Omar?

Solar stocks plummet as Senate version of Trump’s tax bill cuts renewable energy incentives

Solar stocks were under pressure Tuesday as the U.S. Senate’s version of President Donald Trump’s spending bill kept cuts to renewable energy incentives.

Shares of Enphase Energy plummeted more than 17% in the premarket, while First Solar dipped about 12%. Sunrun slipped more than 27% and SolarEdge Technologies dropped 22%.

The Senate version of the bill includes a provision that would fully phase out both solar and wind power tax incentives by 2028. It does, however, keep incentives for nuclear, hydropower and geothermal energy for longer. The renewable energy incentives were key pillars of former President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.

With the chaotic whirl constantly spinning around Dotard we sometimes forget the incredible damage he is doing that's somewhat under the radar.

The War on Nonprofits
Persecuting NGOs in the name of national security often serves as a pretense for government efforts to quiet dissent and consolidate power.

On June 11, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) and her colleagues on the House Delivering on Government Efficiency Subcommittee launched an investigation into 200 nonprofit organizations suspected of supporting illegal immigration. On the same day, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism announced a similar investigation in the wake of the peaceful protests in Los Angeles.

These are not isolated incidents. Just last week, Green hosted a hearing entitled “Public Funds, Private Agendas: NGOs Gone Wild” aimed at “exposing” nongovernment organizations (NGOs) as “corrupt” agents of “money laundering” and “abuse.” Meanwhile, a provision that would allow the secretary of the treasury to accuse any nonprofit of being a “terrorist supporting organization” without providing evidence was defeated narrowly in the House Ways and Means Committee.

These actions synchronize with a growing, coordinated movement by Republican-controlled state legislatures to pass domestic terrorism laws—and to use post-Sept. 11 state laws that criminalize domestic terrorism, or support and assistance for it—to suppress civil society and citizen activism.

The War on Nonprofits

There's no end to their duplicity.

Trump’s continuing attack on the democratic process.
What's a regime to do when its own DNI contradicts the narrative it is spinning? One option would be to acknowledge the distance between the narrative and the IC assessment. Another would be to do what it did. Edit Gabbard's congressional testimony to make it appear the IC is in agreement with the regime on Iran's nuclear program.

Donald Trump insists that Iran is on the brink of developing a nuclear weapon, despite repeated statements to the contrary from his own intelligence officials. But rather than listen, the U.S. president is twisting reality to suit his plans.

The White House posted a video Wednesday of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee in March. Gabbard was delivering the Annual Threat Assessment from the U.S. intelligence community.

“In the past year, we’ve seen an erosion of a decades-long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public, likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decision-making apparatus,” Gabbard says in the clip. “Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons.”

But the clip conveniently leaves out what Gabbard said just a few moments before that soundbite. As shown in Gabbard’s full testimony, the text of which is available on the Office of the Director of National Intelligence website, she actually says Iran is not close to developing a nuclear weapon.
