How do I take myself off of a DM chain?

First of all you have to leave the conversation and second of all I'm a troll now because I believe differently than you about Trump? You're as bad as the others.

I blocked all DM's back when I was getting all kinds of stalking DM's, and when I like a person's posts, I can open an ongoing chain of DM's with them, so they can still DM me whenever they want.

Click on LEAVE and it'll remove you from the DM.

I have never gotten a DM that I am aware of and I don't see the box to the top right that Aye Can't see says is there.

Where is a DM? I know it means direct message. that is all. embarrassing enough over what I don't use.
I don't want to work hard. I just want to live. I don't want to enter a password of phone number to "get out of bed" but it seems that is coming soon.

You have to look at a DM to see it. So if you don't get them, you won't see it.

Second of all, since you do seem to care, I'll say that I was sincere when I said that I respect you for your successful trolling. We have many, many trolls on here, and you are one of the most skilled, as the volume of responses (attention) you are able to generate shows.

Third, I will just briefly say that I believe you are being disingenuous in claiming to support Trump in "everything except . . . "

There are many trolls on here who claim to be "not Democrat" who spend nearly all of their time bashing Trump. I say many, but they appear to be multiples of the same poster or the same handful of posters. Then there are the "I used to support Trump, but he went krazy!" trolls who also spend their time bashing Trump.

(In real life, we see the opposite. People who first thought Trump was a joke, now see his success and support him)

As I see it, you have added to that spectrum, by claiming to support "everything but . . ." Unfortunately, since it is working for you, it will be copied and the board will be further spammed by new "I support Trump, but" trolls.

Fourth, you have twice now started political discussion threads in wrong places. First the intro forum and then in DM's. I have no need to hide from people that openly hate Trump. I am happy to express my opinions and read theirs. I dont' need a quasi-thread in my DM's.

It could be that your apparent flip flopping is merely a tool used by you to limit the criticism of your posts. It could be that you have behaved something like the proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing.

And apparently that’s how some people see your latest array of posting efforts.

Personally, i like to grant you the benefit of the doubt. I mean, it is perfectly fair for you to post about your growing disaffection for President Trump and his Administration’s efforts and focus. Being in opposition to him (in whole or in part) is not what “trolling” really is.

Still, you have become fairly proliferate in expressing it over and over again. And that does seem to feed a belief that maybe you are only engaging in a disguised form (now) of trolling. Whether you are or not is open to interpretation.

I did not say that you were not a troll before. i don't remember you when you were on here before.

I will say that absences followed by an immediate flurry of posts does seem indicative of a sock. I call those absences "drawer time."

Anyway, you asked me a question and I gave you the answer. I did not name you in my request for information about how to get out of your DM. You chose to respond, and of course get more attention.

I guess that means that Xenforo has taken away all pretense of any real privacy now.
