Actually, it does. The First Amendment. It's funny what you right-wingers choose to see in the Constitution, because the Second Amendment clearly states that you should only have arms if you are part of a well-regulated militia, which means military, not the Saturday afternoon militia we see in some places.I agree, people should not be able to force their beliefs on others!
Hmm, what other "clap trap" is allowed in public schools that maybe we need to take a look at....
Yes! This was the whole argument about taking children to drag shows and pride parades where people dance around suggestively, or walk around naked.
76% of the world's population believes in God or some form of religion. This includes many leftys. So, 76% of the world, incliding many leftys are ignorant?
I agree, we should not be indoctrinating the young, in ANY fashion.

I dont know why people always get this wrong. Separation of church and state doesn't appear in the cotus, the cotus does not forbid religion in government institutions, and the argument of separation of church and state doesnt mean what most people thinks it does.

BS. There is no American foundational culture. And there certainly was no context of anything biblical about whatever culture you're describing.Astroglide is too stupid to realize that he is endorsing the forced inculcation of atheism, his religion, on public school students.
What’s more, Astroglide is too stupid to understand the historical, secular context of the Ten Commandments on American foundational culture.
This is why democrats should not be allowed to vote.
~~~~~~Religion doesn't belong in public schools. Neither does LGBT propaganda.
99.999 percent nt of americans follow the laws. So we are in goid shape as of now.We should all follow the ten commandments.
And remove every homosexual flag in schools. Stop flying homosexual flags at state capitols. It contaminates our youth.Thanks to The Freedom From Religion Foundation, we the people have recently scored significant victories against the religious whack brains who would indoctrinate our children in their religious beliefs! In Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas officials were prohibited by federal judges from displaying their religious clap trap in our public schools. Public school students, with young impressionable minds, should be protected from the evils of those who would impose their smoke and mirrors beliefs on them.
America once was proud if citizens went to Christian churches. And at the school we were given the opportunity to attend religions meetings off school grounds.~~~~~~
Unless it's parochial schools.
Whatever happens to saying the pledge of allegiance in schools?
I remember a Prayer at the start of every day and a pledge of allegiance to the flag.
Public schools pledged allegiance and had assembly every Wednesday.
Then again I'm old and these things were normal is the 1940's and 50's.
Most of our youth is well aware that rugged individualism and working hard to create a nest egg before getting married is vital to thr nation. 33 with 80 thousand dollars put away? Time to start thinking about settling down.And remove every homosexual flag in schools. Stop flying homosexual flags at state capitols. It contaminates our youth.
Oh wow man.
Those of us with the ability to reason know full well that "religion" is nothing more than a well concocted scheme to milk money from the ignorant populous, and it rests on a foundation of inaccuracy, fear and retribution. But, in the broadest sense, it's main purpose is to fleece the "believers" of their pocketbooks. It also succeeds in placing the very young at the clutches of many church "leaders."
One of their bedrock principals is to indoctrinate the very young, so that they have future suckers in their money collecting efforts.
Bigly!!!
