Well, with regards of same sex marriage, I think the step has already been taken and there is no return back. Countries that call themselves civilized have already granted the same rights for same sex couples that are granted for everyone else. The case is closed.

About abortion.. That is a complex issue. I don't want to discuss it here, because this thread was created for another purpose. And proceeding with that will mean derailment of the thread.

There will always be people who oppose changes. That is a natural process. What will be if the same sex marriage right is reversed? I don't know. I think that doesn't happen. That would be a great blow to the principle of equal treatment. That is not the way the US is heading.

Abortion is a completely different issue. That is not only about the woman's right or the father's right. The issue is more complex.
