Five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was apprehended by immigration officials shortly after arriving home from preschool while his father was in their driveway, school officials said last week.

In the order issued Monday, U.S. District Judge Fred Biery said that Liam and his father, Adrian Conejo Arias, cannot be removed from the district in Texas pending the habeas case challenging their detention.

In the meantime, they’re flooding our schools and lowering the quality of education, MOST families headed by an illegal are on welfare, they drive up the cost of modest rental apartments, and they lower the wages of working class Americans.

I think a lot of the reasons why we just can't understand how politics really works is because we don't have access to how money moves around in DC through the establishment. We need to follow the money if we want to understand politics, but that is really hard to do and is often discouraged. What we may see as a dysfunctional government may be exactly what BIG MONEY wants. We have to realize that the role of our government is NOT to protect the people from the abuses of the rich and powerful, it is to protect the rich and powerful from the people. We have to stop thinking that government is our best friend and is working tirelessly for our benefit. There is more proof of the Easter Bunny than that.
