The TSA showdown reveals a brutal truth about our politics

Boomers contributed to this country for 40 years.

Illegal aliens are takers. We need to kick them out.

I know you’re a bigot against retirees - a Young Adult Supremacist! - but we have plenty of people in their 20s through 50s on welfare. We need to deport the lowlife illegals harming the future of this country, and put welfare recipients in their jobs.

A win-win.
When you add up the amount of money the government spends on retirees, it dramatically eclipses what we spend on everyone else.

Since you guys spend decades running up massive deficits, the least you could do was not take a baseball bat to the economic future just before you die with ill conceived policies.

Illegal immigrants don’t receive welfare. Their American born citizen children do. Those benefits are an investment in the future. And guess what? Those kids work hard and pay for that investment and then some. We need those kids too, because when I retire, I would like to receive the benefits you are currently enjoying but I won’t be able to do that if you deport millions of people.

You just aren’t thinking about the future of this country. I don’t think you actually care.

Im making a very logical case here. You don’t want to listen. You keep repeating the same shit from organizations founded by literal white supremacists (which you’re implicitly okay with).

And when you add up the money the government spends on illegals, it eclipses whatever they pay in.

And you keep pulling the racist card. Honestly, that slander is so five years ago.

And YOU don’t want to listen. What about the harm the illegals do to our children, trying to get a decent education? My old high school has been flooded with illegals - semi-literate, performing years behind grade-level - and what HAD been a good school is now the worst in the county.

I’ve listened and giving you my critiques.

CIS and FAIR were both founded by a white supremacist. That’s not really up for debate. The guy was not shy about his ideals.

We can see race play huge parts in the immigration debate. If you don’t see that, it’s because you don’t want to see that.

As for the school part, it’s not as simple
For one, how you determine the quality of school primarily is based on outcomes of the students which are primarily based on the characteristics of their parents. It’s not a measure which makes much sense. Take the best school in the country and fill it with poor kids and it’ll suddenly look terrible.

I just told you they ARE costing us! $150 billion a year!

And deporting “working” illegals? They are suppressing wages for working AMERICANS.

YOUR solution seems to be ruining the country.
You “told” us lots of things

Alchemy wrong. Like that c

They came here for a better life, not to pick your vegetables in the heat for 10 hours for low pay. You clearly would not do it and by your statement you’re implying no one else would do it. So let’s pay these people low wages to slave away in the heat for 10 hours to do the wortk no one else will do. Yea, that’s slavery on 2026.
Nonsense. They absolutely come here for those jobs.

Slavery isn’t slavery when you volunteer can get paid

Yup. Upthread he said “illegal immigrants are PROBABLY good for the economy.” Nothing to back that up.

In the meantime, they’re flooding our schools and lowering the quality of education, MOST families headed by an illegal are on welfare, they drive up the cost of modest rental apartments, and they lower the wages of working class Americans.

It’s all about the votes. The plan was always to flood the country with uneducated, semi-literate foreigners who can’t support their families, get them onto welfare, and grant blanket amnesty so they can vote.

Dems even ADMITTED they care more about illegals than Americans!

I know it's hard for you to grasp, but you can be decent to someone and not have it cost you anything.

Undocumented immigrants provide significant economic benefits to the United States, primarily through labor participation, tax contributions, and consumer spending, often contributing to public services they cannot access.
Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy +1

Key Economic Contributions:
  • Tax Contributions: Undocumented immigrants paid an estimated $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes in 2022. This includes roughly $59.4 billion in federal taxes and $37.3 billion in state and local taxes.
  • Social Insurance Funding: A significant portion of these taxes (over $33.9 billion in 2022) goes toward Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment insurance, despite the fact that undocumented workers are generally ineligible for these benefits.
  • Labor Force Participation: About 8.3 million undocumented immigrants work in the US, making up roughly 5% of the workforce. They are heavily represented in essential industries such as agriculture (approx. 25% of workers), construction (17%), and service industries.
  • Consumer Spending: Undocumented households held nearly $300 billion in spending power in 2023, which drives local economic activity.
  • Entrepreneurship: There are over 1.1 million undocumented entrepreneurs, contributing to business creation and job growth.

We have a lot of dead weigh in this country, but it’s mostly the retirees. We have to spend ungodly amounts of money just to keep boomers alive.
Those boomer sent an ungodly amount of money over and above what they will get out of SS, Moroner.

The fault lies entirely on him.

I see a demotion in your future if you keep allowing yourself to be duped by right wing media, Admiral.
Actually the fault is from the violent protesters, trying to stop ice from doing their job.
