EXACTLY...the most sickening thing is when people who were either eye witnesses or have first hand information are being ignored or ridiculed whenever there is a prominent political component to it.
Your testimony and that of the Vets you cared for would have been taken into account in any normal court and significantly influence the verdict. It was not an Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP). Those are generated in nuclear blasts

The only thing you can ignite with a spark from an electrostatic discharge is a well proportioned fuel/air mixture and that would have to be a significant spark....(like you might get one from a poorly grounded fueling system) but you'll never manage to induce a current in a distant wire strong enough to get it to glow and ignite the Zuni trigger charge. The F4 like most of the other aircraft ~ that time used a 24 DC bus system which gets its power from 2 80 KVA PM generators that is fed to the 2 transformers and is then rectified to DC. Then it goes to the main bus circuit breaker which kicks out long before you could get a destructive power surge like the one you say maintains McCain's claim to fame.
The GPU is connected to the same system and it's not even possible to activate the on board generator bus relay unless the generators are in phase with the GPU because the relay latch would refuse to engage !!
Either generator is capable of supplying power to the bus system through an auto-parallel controlled bus tie relay. When the generators are in phase the auto parallel control closes the bus tie relay
To provide adequate power for ground operation of electrical equipment an external power
receptacle is on the bottom of the left air duct and the external 115/200 VaC is distributed through the entire electrical system in the same manner as the generator output
It's not the pilot that closes that relay it's done by an auto parallel control...(you Bozo)
Every multiple generator system on this planet works this way, not just in the Navy's F4 unless the Martians you mentioned rewired the one which was sitting behind McCain.

And said Trump was 'correct' in saying McCain wasn't a hero- when Trump said that McCain wasn't a hero because McCain was captured- and Trump didn't think heroes should be captured.

Frankly I don't have an issue any more with those who dodged the Vietnam War- I was lucky enough to be just too young to have to have made that decision.
