The Trump economy is taking off

In December 2024, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the U.S. was around $3.02 to $3.14
I paid $2.60/gal for gasoline on Friday.
Unfortunately Beef is still high..
Casoline is down a bit, natural gas is through the roof and climbing, as are most consumer goods.

Natural gas prices are virtually the same since last December when Biden was POTUS...and falling due to warmer weather and record production

You fail

And yet my heating bill goes up, not down.

I'm an owner operator, and make less today than I did 6 years ago - thanks to the Biden administration and Democrats.

While inflation has ravaged everyone, most people were at least able to somewhat keep pace with COLA's... not in the trucking industry.

Rates were completely gutted once Biden's illegals hit the market. Throw on top of that fuel prices (diesel) going through the roof = less money coming in, more money going out.

Trump has slowly been able to turn the ship, but aircraft carriers don't stop or turn on a dime.

Diesel prices are finally coming down, and freight rates are beginning to inch back up.

Thousands of illegal drivers are being rounded up every week.

I have survived "The great freight recession" so far - I know many owner operators who either retired or sold their trucks - so hopefully things will continue to trend in the right direction.

Thanks to Trump and everyone who voted for him. You leftists can go to hell.

No, it really is not.

The latest report was missing 80% of the data normally used to calculate inflation.
I don't need a report to tell me I'm not spending as much as I was, last year. But then again, I didn't believe in Russia collision. How many more lies, does your party have to tell you. Before you wake up?

The only way you are spending less than last year is if you are buying fewer items.

We shall see - but Biden was a saint compared to draft dodger and sex-offender Trump.
You mean shower-with-your-daughter Biden?

Can you give us the comprehensive list you used to make your determination.

Biden's plagiarizing that got him booted from the 1988 primaries all the while he was smearing a SCOTUS nominee ahead of his hearing should be on that list.

Why don't you provide a link so we know what you are talking about.

I will even provide a picture to help you out since you asked so nicely.

Democrats’ fear-mongering about the Trump economy is looking more and more like sour grapes.

Yesterday’s CPI report, showing inflation of 2.7 percent — well below the expected 3.1 percent — was bad political news for Democrats. Since “Liberation Day” in April, when President Trump rolled out tariffs aimed at resetting global trade in favor of U.S. companies, the left and their media allies have warned voters that the White House’s actions would clobber our economy and set inflation soaring.

It hasn’t happened. The tariffs have only modestly boosted prices. Instead, the Trump agenda of higher energy production, lower budget deficits and lighter regulation has brought inflation down. While inflation averaged 5 percent annually under former President Joe Biden, and in four years jumped by nearly 22 percent, as of November it is rising at 2.7 percent.

Would you remind me again who created the “affordability crisis?”

As inflation continues to recede from the lofty 9 percent level recorded under Biden, voters may realize just how much damage was done by Joe’s budget-busting big government spending.

Another narrative that is under fire is that Trump-backed AI is a gift to billionaires but is going to destroy U.S. employment, much like the trade pacts of the 1990s that sent jobs overseas. But two new studies counter that claim. As it turns out, AI is actually creating jobs for Americans.

In its year-end note to investors, investment firm Vanguard writes that AI is not responsible for slowing job growth. They point to data showing that “the approximately 100 occupations most exposed to AI automation are actually outperforming the rest of the labor market in terms of job growth and real wage increases
The inflation report last week excluded housing.

Why did the trump BLS do that?

It's not due to natural gas prices. They're virtually unchanged since last year.

You've waded into another subject you're not informed about
Why do you not have that idiot on ignore.

He'd blame his grandmother before he'd allow one of his heros (for which he has full sized blow up dolls) to take a trip into the world of accountability.

The economy is not taking off OP, it's just not...

No, more like, "He fucked up the economy the last time he was in, why are you doing this again?"

I wish Americans were better people. We vote in Democrats when Republicans **** up the economy, and we vote in Republicans when they play on our racial, religious, and sexual fears when times are good.

I wish leftists were better people.
