The Trump administration is waging a war on Black Americans

When we do for ourselves, you figure out a way to take it or destroy it. How many black families lost their land to racist whites?

Over the last century, Black farmers have lost an estimated 16 million acres, much of it through discrimination by the very federal agencies that were supposed to serve them.

How many successful black towns were taken or destroyed by racist jealous whites and the gov't allowed it to happen.

How many black GIs were denied VA Loans or access to the GI Bill?

How did redlining affect black folks in this country?

It's decades of discrimination and racism that has put many black folks into the position we are in today.
I don't deny facts - unlike others, but this wasn't my question regarding 2026. Don't go into IM2 direction (past centuries) - it doesn't solve any of those present issues/problems. As you might know, I am a former South-African citizen and I am fully aware as to what Apartheid did to my former beautiful home-country.

So again my question - as to what Blacks in the USA are doing themselves regarding the above mentioned issues.
Independent of your countries "strange" electoral voting system - what can Black communities do or improve on?

Three months ago, Donald Trump posted a video online depicting former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama as apes. He later took the video down but refused to apologize for it.

Five months ago, Trump confirmed something he had long denied. In his first term, reports emerged that during a 2018 White House meeting with senators, Trump had referred to Haiti and African nations as “s–––hole countries.” When those comments were first reported, Trump denied he ever used that language.

But then a few months ago, he bragged, proudly, during a speech in Pennsylvania, that he had used that term — and that he still believed it.

As is clear from the repeated daily news cycle, Trump and his administration have been bad at everything they have set their mind to. They’re terrible in the courts. They’re terrible in the court of public opinion. They’re terrible at the technocratic, practical stuff a government is supposed to do. They’re terrible at war and diplomacy. They’re bad at what they’re trying to do. Simply put, they’re not great.

But on race, on the treatment of African Americans, even being terrible at what they’re doing has still proved disastrous for the country. It’s not just posturing and messaging that validates and excites the worst bigots in the country (though it’s that too), but we’re now about 16 months into a concerted and intense targeting of Black Americans by the Trump administration.

He immediately started firing or trying to force out some of the highest-profile Black public officials in the government, seemingly regardless of any other criteria, including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown Jr.; the librarian of Congress, Carla Hayden; Gwynne Wilcox, an attorney who served on the National Labor Relations Board; Robert Primus, a member of the Surface Transportation Board; Alvin Brown, who served on the National Transportation Safety Board; Peggy Carr, commissioner of the National Center for Education Statistics; Willie Phillips, head of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and Lisa Cook, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

When Trump and his top political donor, Elon Musk, then started just getting rid of huge swaths of the federal government, to disastrous effect, the biggest cuts targeted agencies that employed a disproportionate number of Black employees.

It should read, The Republican Party is waging war on Black America.

The Supreme Court has joined in as well and one of the main proponents is a so-called black man sitting on the bench.
Not a word of this shows any hostility toward blacks. This OP is nothing but a display of your paranoid hysteria regarding race, as the left media has succeeded in buffaloing you into.

In Trump's first term, unemployment for blacks, Latinos, Asians & the disabled was the lowest in US history. Simultaneously, the median wage was the highest in US history, at that time.

Maybe one of the reasons that the agencies Trump & Musk targeted cuts has so many black employees, was because, just like the VA, they engaged in immoral & illegal racial discrimination through Affirmative Action. So if they got cut...GOOD!

As for the Obamas being pictured as apes, what the hell does that have to do with race ? Apes are known to be less intelligent than humans, That was the point of the picture. Whites could be pictured as apes just as well as blacks.

As for Haiti and some African countries being referred to as shithole countries, maybe that's because they DESERVE to be called that, with the lowest GDPs in the world.

Stop trying to make everything be about race.

Black Americans are waging war on themselves. They’ve been driving themselves into ghetto life perpetually since great society and democrat segregation.
OP is a symptom of the problem.

Correct. And the position blacks are in today is thriving, with good jobs, living in nice homes and driving new shiny cars.

And yes, it is decades of discrimination and racism that has put many black folks into this advantageous position they are in today. Specifically, 6 decades of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION discrimination. (at the expense of whites)

One thing young blacks can do is do what Clarence Thomas and Ben Carson did. Go to college, get degrees and become doctors and lawyers.

Or go to a trade school.

If one grows up in a Black ghetto or some White trash trailer park, or some hillbilly town - his last thought will be to go to a college since the vast majority is already struggling to get a high-school diploma - independently that he most likely will not even be able to afford a college or university.
The issue IMO reverts all to ones immediate surrounding - starting off with the parents and grand parents education and social character.

Many of those standard GI's I got to know in Germany and elsewhere - had an extreme low education and social attitude no matter if White or Black. They were all basically just living/demonstrating their parental background and environment. And when they later worked at some gas-station or supermarket - Whites were clearly favored by the employer. (that's were racism in the USA starts to openly show).

Oh FFS more retarded, divisive hyperbole. Give it a REST!!! You convince no one with this CRAP

Black unemployment went to a record low due to Trump's economic policies.

From your ginger perspective, that's somehow a bad thing.
SNAP OUT OF IT!

The question to me would be: What are Blacks doing about their own disastrous Black ghettos, criminals and gangs?
No doubt that Whites or Hispanics are plagued with the same groups and social environment.

But you can't refute the fact, that Black "violence" is over-proportionally present amongst Blacks in the USA.
And this what White-Supremacists as well as normal Whites and other races cling onto.

The left can never refute that FACT, but they'll never admit it.

Yep. Trump and the cult are trying to gerrymandering black Congress members out of existence.

It is undeniable this is a race based war on black representation.

But what do you expect from this species of animals who call themselves Christians?

When they say "Make America Great AGAIN", they are giving away what they are harkening back to with "AGAIN".

1. In the US, Blacks have been favored in employment over whites for 60 years. This is why VA hospital staffs are 75% black. 20% Hispanic & Asian.

2, If blacks do well in high school, they can get loans, grants, scholarships.

3. Some colleges (especially black colleges) let kids attend free - especially after President Trump gave $250 million/year to black colleges >>
